Natural environment
There was a leakage in the Tree house so they ahifted us to the tent hoise stay. I paid for the tree house but was shifted to tent house room due to unavaialability. But i was charged the price of the tree house

Worst Experience In Nature Zone Resort at Munnar *Pathetic & Filthy Resort* 1. No proper room service (Bedsheets, Blankets & Towels were not changed even after requesting several times and even no room cleanness) 2. There is No Hot water in the bathroom and when we requested for Hot Water they simply said here only warm water 3. When we complained their bad service with their manager Ms.Nayana she get offended and we Never Saw such a rude lady manger in our life time. She dont have manners to behave with ladies and kids 4. Frogs were in the bathroom and very uncomfortable and awkward 5. Black mould & dirt on all the toilet/wet room/shower walls which had not been cleaned for many months. 6. They charge 100 RS per single omlet and when we asked about over charge they respond very rudely like eat if you want but we will charge for order 7. Their Complimentary Breakfast is better to avoid. Served very cold and not fresh 8. Doesnt seems to build relationship with the customers (they simple argue for anything) If you are planning to visit Munar better stay off from *Nature Zone* resort due to their bad service even they charge more.

Rather moth-eaten treehouse with fabulous views of tree canopy. Great walks nearby - up steep wooded hill to summit of ghat overlooking Mannar, or quiet, level walks in tea plantation with view of hills. Collected by jeep for thrilling drive up track from town - not for the faint hearted! Glad we were not staying in tents, they looked a bit cramped and very close together.
Resort is an Outward Bound-type training centre. Groups of businessmen doing motivational training and students playing charades can be unintentionally overwhelming company. Canteen-type restaurant the only option for meals; variety wears thin after a couple of days. Bureaucratic reservation system requires 50% deposit by bank transfer - why not by credit card?

Amazing place if you want to spend some quality time with ur loved one....really humble staff...they have tree house n tent house..if u are looking to book tree house book early because it gets sold out quickly..

Do not stay here.
There are so many things wrong with this ridiculously overpriced place I dont know where to start.
First of all,
The tree house is nothing like it looks in the pictures. The room is dirty and old and there is hardly any lighting in the room.
The bedding is damp and the bathroom smells. There were no towels in the bedroom when we got there.
The communication with the resort were appalling - we had to wait for the Jeep to take us up there for over an hour even though we called in advance as instructed by them. The same again when we wanted to get a Jeep back to Munnar later in the day and back.
However the WORST thing about our stay was the fact that there were rats and squirrels running around the room all night. We were not able to sleep and found rat faeces in the room in the morning.
There were also rats running around the restaurant at dinner time.
We were meant to stay 2 nights however only stayed for one. When we tried to get a refund (giving all of the above as reasons) we were by the extremely rude staff.
Overall I strongly advise not to stay there.
The picture shows how dark the room is during the day with all lights on. Also pictured the animal urine on the floor.
