This place is nothing but a scam. I repeatedly called the owner in advance and clearly informed them that I would be arriving with two senior citizens. I kept asking if everything was okay or if anything was needed from my side. Every single time, I was assured that everything was “all okay.” But the moment I reached the property, their true colors came out. They bluntly told me that since it was peak season, they had already given the room I booked to someone else. Instead, they offered a so-called “alternative” — a 3-bed setup where one person had to sleep on the floor, which was not even close to what I had booked or paid for. To make matters worse, the washroom condition was disgusting — worse than a public washroom. Completely unhygienic and unacceptable, especially when traveling with elderly people. They casually offered ₹1,000 as compensation, which was honestly insulting. It was obvious they had sold our room to another guest for at least ₹10,000 more, and didn’t care one bit about the inconvenience or stress they caused us. The most shocking part was their attitude. They openly said “it’s not our problem” and that this is how they operate, which clearly explains why they are listed as a Pay-at-Property — so they can cheat guests without accountability. I even have a video recording of the way they spoke, clearly showing their rude and unapologetic behavior. Please think twice before booking this place. Property location is very good

One of the best stay in Mahabaleshwar. If you consider the cost factor it's the best. The scenery is best. You can just stay here all day and no need to go anywhere else. You will have a very good view from you room if you are getting one of the last room. And there was no hidden charges (even tough some review say it exist).

Staff (one man army) very supportive. Valley view. Be prepared for a hill type walk to your room based on which one you book. You get only Veg snacks and food. Old structure, not for ones expecting a luxury stay. Location is an advantage. Overall had a pleasant stay with family.

The hotel is a quiet scenic place managed by a few people. Beautiful ambience and an awesome view to compliment it. There are numerous cottages with twin rooms.and a few buildings where the fixtures have been updraded. The cottage rooms are modest and in need for some upgrades, yet very clean and comfortable. The staff is limited so be reasonable and kind with your expectations. The one staff member Sumit is a one man army..who is responsible for room service to everything else that u need...in spite of managing atleast 14 plus rooms he was always available to help for the smallest of things. His advice on local travel was valuable as cars are very expensive and unreasonable. Veg food is avlb on room service and reasonably priced considering that this is a touristy place. Since this is a foresty place an occassional bug or spider can get into the room...not in anyones control..which is pretty common and normal..winters with no rain is best time to visit. There was a bonfire every night...if u are reasonable,polite and practical with your ecpectations,and u enjoy nature and its natural beauty-.this place is a gem. But if u are fussy, technology oriented and demanding...find another place. For the price paid...it was a good worthwhile trip that was safe and comfortable for me and my son
