The hospitality of the host Anil Bhai was awesome. I will always remember him. He was welcoming. Our return ticket to Mumbai was at 5am but still he made tea for all of us and greeted us with a safe journey.
Too small rooms, no kettle for hot water, No channels in TV, no heater for room for warming, the rooms were a bit expensive.

Nothing really cheap property with no amenities.
No one should ever book this property, the details mentioned are far from the truth, the location is in a colony far from the temple and the market with no means of transportation. The rooms were nothing like the listing, quite small, the “attached balcony” with garden view was simply the corridor with the view of wall. The behaviour and service was terrible with no proper food available unless you notified them prior, it’s absolutely ridiculous, they mentioned cottage with restaurant what restaurant asked to inform for dinner in noon and for breakfast one night before .

The rooms are very very small. The size is 8" by 6". Just sufficient to put one bed. Have to crawl on the bed to laydown.
The approach to the rooms are very narrow filled with trash

Overall experience was too good. I went to Mahabaleshwar with my mother. It was really nice experience. I stay this place for 4 days. Very clean, near by market, very nicely managed by owner, delicious food.

Near the market . Room and bathroom was clean
The are rooms made behind the man's home. No view what so ever . He doesn't prefer solo travellers. I had to convince him to take me in. I felt like the owner is the warden and I was living in his hostel. Asking me when I will go out and when I will come back. Since it was late and I didn't have any option around the Rs 1500 price point. Plan in advance and get a better place.

Mrs. & Mr. Anil were so friendly and helpful. Mrs. Anil prepared us homely food, we had breakfast and dinner at their place during our stay. Both were great hosts and would like to stay there when we go to Mahabaleshwar next time. Thanks to them for making us very comfortable.
