Excellent stay - Ajith was extremely helpful and sorted our entire trip here with arranging autos, helping with buses, and provided delicious evening meals (at minimal extra cost). We loved the pool which is covered so keeps cool in the humid heat, and the option to kayak along the backwaters. Room is clean and unlimited supply of water. Great value.

We enjoyed our stay here very much.
The location is outside the crowded spaces on the coast which gives it a tranquil experience.
The cooking is no less than excellent - can only recommend the Idli & curry combination. Ajith has good advice on various things to do and see and can actively help you organize transport.
We would book here againg.
We feel a bit sad having to leave as our vacation comes to an end.

Charming, helpful host and host's family. Beautiful setting. The swimming pool was lovely and a real treat. Everything was calm, clean and tidy.
The home cooked food was just what I hoped for.
I stayed there on my own. I was the only guest. In a way, it would have been nice to have other tourists to chat to and to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place. There would still have been plenty of space for privacy.

Beautiful garden on a canal. Village life in the backwaters. We ate every evening at the homestay as the home cooked food was delicious.
Lunch snacks from stalls nearby.
Ajith and his parents were perfect hosts; welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, can’t praise them enough.
Come here to rest and relax.

Ajith and his family were so friendly and welcoming and provided lots of information on local things to see and explore including helping us arrange onward travel. The house is right next to then river and the canoeing and kayaking was one of the highlights of our trip. The home cooked food was great, the gardens were beautiful and the kids enjoyed the pool to cool off on a hot day. The rooms were comfortable and clean and it was a very relaxing few days. A really special stay!

Lovely home stay, comfortable and clean, the garden is amazing. Surrounded by nature, the location is conveniently close to the government boat starting point, for a tour of the backwaters. Kottayam town is about 20 mins away with tuk tuk .

This family was very implicated and responded with a lot of care and details to all our questions. It was so nice that we even chose to stay one more night (3 in total) ! The breakfast was perfect and the dinner very enjoyable! The garden was a huge plus, it was really taken care of and very beautiful! The pool was a very nice bonus !

The hosts are extremely helpful and help you plan your stay by recommending amazing locations which are accessible by amazing government transport modes like jetty. The breakfast provided is very homely and healthy. The area is well connected by waterway and roadway with public transport available till 8pm. They have a cosy swimming pool and the foliage in the property makes the stay even better. The night skies are illuminated with fireflies. :)

Seriously an excellent homestay experience. You're in gorgeous jungle farmland, with amazingly friendly and helpful hosts, and the rooms are very comfortable. I can't recommend enough. There is a pool, a river right outside with boats and kayaks in the right season. Birds and other friendly critters about. Remote enough but also food delivery is available and they cook amazing free breakfast everyday. Excellent dinners are provided daily if desired for a very reasonable price. You should stay here!

Very beautiful and quiet scenery, because the homestay is in the middle of the nature. Ajith and his family are the sweetest and most generous people and helped us with all our questions. One morning we did canoeing which was very nice in the surroundings of the homestay. The evening dinners and breakfast were cooked by Ajiths mother which were very tasty. Because we liked the atmosphere at the place so much we booked an additional night.

Good quiet area but Kottayam was s so close if you want to go to the city. Ajidh and his family are absolutely superb and will help you in every question. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Kutticattil Homestay and will definitely recommend everyone to stay there if you’re travelling in this area.

We had a lovely stay and did like the place a lot ! The room was very nice and spotless! We could do our laundry which served us perfectly as we are travelling with bikes ! Ajith and his parents are very helpful and friendly people! We ordered dinner ; it was delicious and so was the breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuttickattil Gardens Homestay. Ajith and his family were fabulous hosts and the food was delicious! It was especially nice to have access to a small kitchen and fridge, as well as a washing machine. They also provided drinking water for refilling our water bottles. We highly recommend staying at Kuttickattil Homestay!
