I loved my stay at Vishnu's homestay ~ it felt like a little slice of paradise! Spacious clean room, great quality/price ratio, and lovely accommodating hosts - couldn't have asked for more!

The food here was AMAZING. Best Ive had so far. Also Vishnu held the canoe tour and checked in with other visitors to join so I didnt have to pay as much, which they did. He also provides incense to help ward off mosquitoes if you want to sit outside. I didnt have a problem with mosquitoes inside.
Bed sheet and pillow looked clean, but the blanket did not. I ended up using my sleeping bag liner. Room was small but I think it was more than enough for what I paid.

The house is located in a quiet area. An ideal stop on your journey through India to rest for a while and get in better contact with nature. The morning rafting on the backwaters by the owner of the homestay was an unforgettable experience. The meals were very tasty.

We had a fabulous stay at Munroe Nest. The hosts are warm, friendly and organised any tours and transport that we needed. The property is beautiful, peaceful, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The home cooked food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

It's a very quiet place to stay. You can enjoy and experience the beauty of Kerala villages. Backwater evening canal boating is mind-blowing with a beautiful sunset view. You can definitely find peace here. Attaching a view from the homestay. The host provided the best assistance to roam around the island, he and his family was so kind and lovely.

This is an idyllic location for those seeking a tranquil, local experience and the chance to sample authentic cuisine. Here, you'll get a real sense of rural life and witness the close-knit community first-hand. However, be aware that during the hotter months, comfort may be reduced due to the absence of AC, a fact we were informed about prior to our visit. Despite the heat, the welcoming and friendly nature of the hosting family won us over. Note, though, that the inviting dinner they serve comes with an additional cost. Don't miss out on the canal tour - it's a highlight!
