The room was very good and spacious including the bathroom, also the dinner and breakfast had proper items like what generally happens in normal 5 star hotel.
The behavior of the manager at the buffet was not good and she was not at responsive to requests.

The view from the top floors is nice. Went to Nori for dinner. food was flavourful and tasty. overall had a good experience at the restaurant.
Firstly, I was celebrating my parents 51st anniversary so we were staying at the hotel for the weekend. The anniversary bit was made known to the hotel folks and they left a cake on the table :( We found it on checking in! Extremely impersonal and unhospitable action i would say. Staff was rather cold in their behaviour and not that friendly.
Expected better from the brand.

Truly a 5-star (and beyond) experience! The staff was professional, the park-view room on the 28th floor was breathtaking, and the buffet and facilities were excellent. We only wish we stayed longer.

The bathroom was leaking, the bathtub wasn't working, The shit lot was leaking..while going out on 7th this was specifically told to the staff along with the instructions of setting the room right. When we came back at 6.30 the bathroom was fixed however the water claden towels lay in the bathroom, the used cutlery was lying on table the bed was not fixed. Called 0 for 10 mins no one picked the call, had to go down to request to get things done. Nothing was done for 45mins and then again I had to call and 15mins post that someone came to fix the room. It was interference in personal time, he washed the cutleries infront of us in washroom and definately wasn't an experience i was expecting after paying so much. Coffee in the breakfast was pathetic. The staff taking orders at live counters have no clue doesn't communicate well and has no idea of table layouts. Overall a pathetic experience wouldn't go back again.

Our recent stay at The Westin Kolkata was nothing short of exceptional. It was our first experience with the Westin brand, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. I visited with my family, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and impeccably taken care of.
A special word of appreciation goes to Indrani and her dedicated team, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, reflecting the team’s commitment to excellence. On our first night, we encountered a minor issue with the AC duct, but the staff responded promptly and resolved it in no time—an impressive display of efficiency and professionalism.
The rooms were spacious, cozy, and elegantly designed, offering stunning views of Eco Park and Tal Lake that made our mornings and evenings even more delightful. Breakfast each day was a treat, with an extensive spread that catered to all tastes—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
Our evenings at the lounge were equally enjoyable. The ambiance was perfect for unwinding, and the selection of Scotch was outstanding. It was the perfect way to relax and make lasting memories with family.
This stay has set a new benchmark for hospitality, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you, Westin Kolkata, for a truly wonderful experience.
