We booked this place considering it was located near the VFS Kolkata center. The place was OK for our purpose (short stay for visa appointment). Staff are helpful and overall the stay was good.

Clean and tastefully done up property, by owner/Proprietor. Nice quiet locality, yet within walking/rickshaw distance from the shopping/main roads. The staff are extremely polite and pleasant. The breakfast is neatly done.
Tea could be a part of the breakfast, is my only suggestion.

As we were from Bangladesh, We stayed at Kollolini Kolkata 2 nights. Its a fine hotel to enjoy family life. They are very cordial and responsible.

Poor
English language tv channels.
Unbelievably loud construction. Like, incredibly loud. Asked them to stop and nothing. Asked a second time and it got a little quieter. GM said something about electric work, but they were literally hammering and sawing for hours. So awful. We chose this location for a rest day during a 3 month round the world trip, and it was a nightmare. Shower was hot for 1-2 minutes. Dirty sheets. Window was basically open to the outside, so the dogs barking and cars honking were as loud as street-level.
