The lobby was absolutely gorgeous.
The manager was very attentive, and the gentleman who welcomed us at the entrance was charming.
Rooms were well equipped and comfortable.
The suites were even better and we were grateful for the upgrade.
Gardens and grounds needed restoration
There was no spa
The fitness studio was a small room that looked like a store room.
I was not comfortable to use the pool with lots of service men setting up/ clearing away weddings near the pool.
Cigarette smells travelled through the rooms from other guests which often woke me up.
The road that takes you to the centre of town was awful. All under construction and very bumpy making the distance feel a lot longer.

Visiting from US, decided to stay at this property with my parents. It’s a beautiful and peaceful property. Entire staff is very courteous and professional. We were greeted by Tapasya, she took care of check in quickly. Their food is delicious and breakfast is must have, Neetu was very courteous in the restaurant and the food variety is meant for everyone.
I would definitely come back, it was very comfortable stay for my elderly parents also and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful pool views.

Hospitality of the restaurant staff was exceptional. Extremely sweet and warm.

When I booked the room in this hotel via Booking.com, it showed it as a 5-star hotel, but to my disappointment, it was not a 5-star property. This is not correct. I would demand that Booking.com reimburse me the full amount. Otherwise, I will stop using Booking.com, of which I am an old loyal customer. Thankj you. Jagdish Ladha

Some staff members were good.
The property is good but construction is going on nearby and that is a problem. My car's tire burst because of this reason.
1. Was served hot coffee when asked for cold coffee.
2. Issue related to booking platform. Room issues. Triple occupancy room issues.
3. Moth(insect) in the bed. I have a video of the same.
4. Towels missing at poolside.
5. Staff missing from reception at times.
6. Asked for the guests id, 3days after check-in out.
7. Valley parking unavailable at night.
And there were several other complaints as well which were communicated multiple times to the manager on duty.

Its built luxuriously well, and if someone like a Taj or Leela runs it, it would command much higher price than what it does today. Great Architecture, Ample open space, great room size, nice views from room window, great art pieces, gives you rich cultural feeling. Peacocks in the garden, dancing, and chirping, other birds and flowers on the compound, lawn furniture, they have got it all.
Location, Cleanliness , food - if this place is managed professionally, it will command much high price because of the enormous space they have and they way it is built. Overall the place is clean, but could do better where it matters the most - like pool, restaurant. Its a huge place and cleaning it like a star hotel is expensive, but then leaving it like this is ironical. Appears like a family run business, maybe marked a 5 star by local standards, definitely not by national or international standards. It appears far from the city, although its only 10 KM from the airport, but cab drivers try to take advantage on the name of distance, road condition etc. If they really play it well, like offer complimentary transport, improve on food and cleanliness, and hire a few professionally trained hotel management folks, its a jewel hidden in dirt.
