Wonderful
Boutique homely hotel
Property is nice. The street leading up to it needs more cleanliness if the owners can influence

Very Good
The staff were friendly helpful and attentive. The hotel and rooms were traditional with a fun twist. They have an amazing view of the fort.
It's great for walking around the Blue City but you need a tuk-tuk for anywhere else

Wonderful
Located in the heart of the old city, walking distance from most attractions.
A very good restaurant on the rooftop with wonderful views.
The hotel is not accessible by car, only tuktuk in & out.
The area is noisy and dirty.

Wonderful
With the front door tucked away down an alley, this tiny entrance opens into a beautiful Haveli. Rooms were large and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the rooftop view of the fort for breakfast, dinner and a few cold beers. Food was good, beers cold. Staff were super helpful, organising a few trips and cars for us. There are always TukTuks available out the front door. Only downside was my friends hot water cylinder wasn’t working. Not a big issue as we had adjoining rooms, she could use mine, but does stop this being 10 rating.

Very Good
Nestled within the excitement and chaos of the old city, Raj Mandir offers a wonderful sanctuary. The roof top restaurant serves super tasty food, the service is genuine and friendly and the views to the Fort are great. The restored haveli is brimming with authenticity. The rooms were lovely and roomy, good hot water in the bathroom.
Whilst the rooms were lovely, they were a bit dark. Also, whilst it did not bother us, especially when considering the great price per night, our room was very hot as the stone walls absorbed all the heat from outside. The air con struggled and it did mean it took a long time to cool the room.

Pleasant
The Raj Mandir is located in the heart of the old town. As such, it is very favorably located for the main attractions around the old town. The downside is the amount of noise and dust present in the environment. Overall it is a pleasant, albeit quirky, little place.
Although the staff was very attentive, there are only a few boys to do everything. So, the cleanliness of the establishment suffers.

Wonderful
Convenient location - walking distance to the entrance of the Fort. Breakfast was not large, but the banana honey pancake, or actually a crepe, was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is nowhere to hang clothes other than to put them on chairs. The room has a window covered with attractive stained glass but is a bit dark.
While the room window has mosquito nets and can be kept open the whole night, if you wish, a small opening in the bathroom has no mosquito net, and when I went to the bathroom at night, I immediately saw 4 mosquitoes, so - keep the bathroom door closed at night.

Poor
The view from the little rooftop terrace was the only respite in the morning.
The bed was comfortable but otherwise the bathroom and toilet were far from what the pictures show and lacked basic cleanliness. Moreover the home is located in the old city on a tiny street only accessible by rickshaws. The surroundings were filthy and I certainly would not recommend staying in this location for families/couples.

Wonderful
In the heart of the fabled/touristy blue buildings area of the city, this place is amazing value for money. Prem and his staff made every effort to accommodate us, welcoming us after a late arrival and ensuring we were happy with our room - even giving us an upgrade. We loved our big balcony on the lower floor since it was ours alone and the breakfast area is lovely first thing in the morning with views of the fort. Was a bit tricky to find it - the entrance is around the side of a building, next to a dodgy-sounding sex shrine (!) but given how close you are to the action it wasn't too noisy - provided you don't mind the early morning bells from the nearby temple next door (all part of the experience).

Exceptional
The house is amazing, lots of old world charm, so no lift. The views from the top are stunning and we had a balcony that was perfect, shady in the heat of the day with a view of the fort.
There was everything we needed, hair drier, kettle and most important a comfortable bed.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great time spending at this hotel, which is situated close to the main attractions, still in a quite area so we could have good night sleep. Our room was beautiful and clean, the owner/members of the staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to meet our needs. On the top floor there is a restaurant with a stunning view and good food selection. We would really recommend to book this special place:).

Good
Small, basic, clean rooms. The rooftop cafe was ok, breakfasts fair.
It was a bit out of the way, a 20-30 minute walk to most sights. No cars in this area, so if you have lots of luggage you’ll need to take a tuk tuk to get there.
The cafe was a bit grotty.

Fair
The guesthouse has a rustic look, giving the perception of going back in time. The restaurant above serves simple yet good breakfasts. The staff are polite. Our room had a nice balcony which, if clean, would have been a pleasant place to spend the morning.
The bedsheets were dirty and torn. The blanket was clearly unwashed and had hair from previous guests. As soon as we arrived, we regretted our choice because it was dirty. The area in front of the guesthouse was a garbage dumping area. This place has potential if they clean it, replace their soft furnishings, and clear the trash.

The “old-looking” building makes you feel like your in an authentic Indian stay. De rooftop is great - good food and beautiful view on the fort.

Disappointing
Staff was polite. The property may suit young backpackers, low budget traveller who love to have the inside feel of an old city
Located in congested area. One has to park vehicle in a Hospital parking 1.5 km away. And take an auto. No lift, high steps on stair case. No room service. A very mediocre property.

Property can only be accessed by rickshaw but if you ask hotel staff they will arrange pick up for you which is a big help!
Bathroom needs better lighting as was so dark in there ! Also new towels and bedding would be great, as definitely past there best.
