Breakfast was wonderful, made to one's request with wholesome ingredients. Dinners served in the beautifully lit garden were delightfully atmospheric.
We liked every aspect of this lovely place - its tranquitlity, its staff, its cuisine, and the crafts on site. We especially appreciated the friendly evening discussions with the hotel manager.

One of the best stays we had in Rajasthan! This charming place surprised us with beautiful rooms, kind staff and really good food. We booked a village walking tour with them and visited the women’s workshop next door where you can admire and buy the handcrafted bags, clothes and decorations created by the village women - great initiative which supports them to earn their own money and be more independent.
You definitely need a car to get around. It might be difficult to reach the place by public transport.
I booked a massage at the hotel but have to admit that I was a bit disappointed. The massage itself was good but the room they have designated as the Spa room was freezing cold and the atmosphere was not super relaxing. I think there is still room for improvement.

Chandelao Garh is a magical, beautiful and very peaceful place to stay. Our visit exceeded our expectations by far. We could not only relax, eat delicious rajasthani food, read, and observe the parrots and flowers, but were also taken for a village walk with some chai, and got to know the foundation with its nice shop, where women of the village sell their handcrafted goods. Additionally, we took a jeep safari tour to the lakes, where we could observe antelopes, many birds and wild bores. We would definitely like to visit this exceptional place again.

We loved our 4-night-stay at Chandelao Garh! Beautiful, charming old architecture with modern aminities like a swimmingpool. Waking up with birds singing, two friendly dogs who come to greet you (if you want them to). Delicious food served inside or outside, with candlelight and fire. During the day you can either relax all day at the pool or do one of several activities. We did a village walk, visited the social project sunder rang next door, had a stunning sunset bbq, got a haircut at the village hairdresser and went to Jodhpur for a day. The best part however, which made all of the above mentioned even more special, is the amazing team. Mr Singh, who joined us several times for dinner or breakfast, is a very kind & knowledgeable host. And the whole staff is just amazing, special thanks to everyone! We felt very comfortable, the service was great and we really enjoyed our time with everyone.

Everything was perfect, Chandelao Garh is a kind of oasi in Rajasthan, in a beautiful, quiet, rural village on the road to Jodhpur. They offer huge and clean rooms, beautiful garden, very clean swimmingpool, very nice indian meal. The only sounds you can ear here are nature sounds. Also staff is so nice and always available. They can manage you an interesting safari in the villages around. There is also a craftcenter where you can buy beautiful souvenirs prepared by the woman in the village.

This was hands down the best place we stayed at during our time in India. The staff were lovely and the owner is a genuinely interesting person. We were impressed by the authenticity and comfort of the fort accommodation. The food was varied and delicious. We enjoyed swimming in the clean pool. The village tour was great and the local people make quality handicrafts and clothing that you can purchase.

We loved our stay at Chandelao Garh. It gives you a chance to slow down and experience a slice of real rural life. The food is some of the best we had on our trip , far better than many fancy restaurants. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We must give a special mention to our Jeep safari driver who was fun to be with and made sure we were having a good time.

A fantastic place to stay. For the price it is incredible, very relaxed and also luxurious feel. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Food was very good and owner went out his way to make our experience very personal. The village was amazing to see and meet some local people.
Everything was great. The rooms were a little bit basic and minimal but also very clean and it seemed to compliment the feel of the place - it wasn’t trying to be too fancy which was refreshing.

Staff was super nice, rooms were spacious and clean and very beautiful. The fort is a very nice location. Also, the women's craft centre was a very special place.
It would be great to have better transparency regarding costs and activities.
