I have no words to describe my stay. Everything was perfect. The vibes, cleanliness, facilities etc. The food was super delicious and affordable. Special shoutout to the property owner and host Mr Atit. His calm and super helpful demeanor was a cherry on top. Will highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dharamshala.

The hostel is located in a peaceful spot a little away from the main town’s hustle ans bustle and makes the perfect getaway spot for a relaxing stay. The staff in incredibly supportive and warm. The homecookes food at the hostel was always fulfilling ans scrumptous.

Location: 10/10, The view from the rooms, common areas and the terrace overlooks the beautiful hills and a stream. You can take a nice stroll to the river during the day and have dog accompany you :D
Staff: Amazing amazing people who made me feel safe and welcomed. Everyone was friendly, and comforting.
Food: If you like home cooked meals, you will LOVE hobo hostel!

The room and beds were great. We got our own bathroom, comfy beds and the view was beautiful. The food (especially in the evening) was great. Staff was friendly and the first night the guy who received us was so nice. It's close to the mountains.
Only the guy of the first night spoke English (we haven't seen him afterwards anymore). The others didn't speak anything and even in Hindi it was hard the communicate. What made it a bit annoying for the Europeans. The bathroom didn't get cleaned during the 4 nights we stayed there. Location is far out and hard/impossible to get a cap. The food was great but it took really long to come. The water in our bathroom didn't work two days in a row and shower was impossible the entire time.
I still give it a 7 because the potential of the hostel is great
