D’s Casa is a quiet oasis surrounded by trees, but also a short walk to the markets and eateries. I loved the rooftop seating and the restaurant, which features a nice variety of options. The staff was attentive to every need; I especially appreciated their assistance with securing taxis when I wanted to explore, helping to communicate my wishes with the drivers and then checking with me later to see if all had gone well.

Good buffet style breakfast prepared by friendly staff. Room well equipped with a bath and separate shower (ask if you want a bath tub as I believe hotel only has two or three rooms with tubs). Room also had a small garden outside.
Reasonably priced.
Hotel is beside the Hotel Bhagsu, and at the top of a steep footpath which goes directly to the main temple entrance.
There are some nice cafes in McLeod Ganj - try the Common Ground just up from the taxi stand and main square.
Hotel caters well for older, less mobile guests (elevator etc)
Small things only. My room was quite close to Reception, so I was disturbed by noise of people arriving and leaving at night. Perhaps go for rooms on floors above.
A fridge in the room would have been nice to keep food and drinks cool.

Staff were sweet and kind. Property’s location is amazing because it’s close to all the major landmarks.
I understand they have there protocols but it would help if they could be a little flexible with their checkout time.
And maybe the price could be a little more affordable.

Location was great. It was conveniently located and yet quiet. The staff were friendly and warm. Manager Julphi Ram was prompt in replying to queries, and other staff - Sewan, Deepak, Rajeev, Sasaswati, Ashok and Prashant were most helpful.
The hotel rooftop had a great view of the mountains.

The room was very comfortable and nice, with a desk suitable for working and a charming balcony overlooking the hillside.
The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the center, yet perfectly distanced to ensure peace and tranquility.

The location — situated in the heart of Mcleodganj.
The rooms are a bit old-fashioned. I think it would be great if they worked on the interiors a bit, add a little more lighting, give a sophisticated look to the rooms while retaining the woody rustic feel.

The hotel is centrally located in McLeodganj, within walking distance of tourist attractions (Tsuklakhang temple complex, St John's Church, Bhagsunag temple & Bhagsu falls), the market, and the restaurants & cafes. While being near the market, it is also secluded making it a quiet place to stay in. The property is well maintained & clean.
The staff are extremely helpful, we were provided timely packed breakfasts on our early morning starts, and arrangements were made for ordering an early morning taxi. A special mention of the front desk staff - Mr Julphi Ram, and Mr Gautam and the restaurant / waiting staff including Mr Manjeet Singh; for their cooperative & helpful attitude.
We liked the food as it was not oily / spicy, but the breakfast menu was repetitive. Overall, we had a pleasant 5 day stay, and would like to stay here again.
The breakfast menu was repetitive and slightly boring. A suggestion would be to provide blinds in the restaurant windows for the times when bright sunlight makes is difficult to sit by the windows.
