Absolutely nothing!
The middle-aged man at the reception (who seems to be the manager) is terrible! Firstly, it's very hard to spot this place. There's a small road that you have to go into to reach this spot and it's not clean or accessible if you are driving to this place.
Secondly, when we reached, they said there's parking available on premises for 2 cars in total. Since we were the third car, there's no parking available. Then this "manager" started screaming at me and my family for asking for parking which was mentioned to be available in the property. He felt what we were asking for was unreasonable and even laughed at us.
Thirdly, as soon as we started discussing parking, he started telling us that rooms are all booked out, tho I had made a booking already. We drove over 500kms to get here and I had clearly mentioned the check-in time to which the property responded saying it's absolutely fine. And on reaching, they told us they gave a room to someone else without even responding or informing us in prior. We were literally on the street after a long morning of driving, with absolutely no accommodation. They said they prioritise some other booking which was not through booking.com.
He had absolutely no empathy or manners and felt it was okay to scream at us and tell us that what he was saying about parking and rooms being booked is normal!
It was a ridiculous experience..didn't expect this from a property through booking.com and I would never recommend this to anyone again. I can't believe this place even had good reviews on the platform to begin with. They fill up their rooms and that's all this property cared about.

After check in at 2pm I check out the room on 9pm on the same day by observing such a worse and horrible situation of the hotel.Staff were rude and rough.My humble request to Booking.com that please don't enlist such type of hotel otherwise you lost your customer.
Nothing could have been better as the hotel like a hail.

Location
They didn't change the bed sheet, it was looking very unhygien. On the fourth day I felt like sick. They should have kept it little neatly. Another problem, they don't have a cable connection and just imagine sitting idle for 4 complete days with your partner in one room.

Bed was comfortable, ac worked.
Room and bathroom were small, dirty floors and dirty looking bedding, did not have basics like soap and toilet paper. Had to ask for a towel for showering. Staff was not very friendly, or very good in speaking English. Location is not in a great part of town. Breakfast was only provided on 1st day and not the following days. Electricity and water went out for a period of time 1 day.

location in busy market, walking distance from Marina Beach. The staff is helpful and attended swiftly to resolve issues. There are many eateries of different types near the hotel which is required as no food is served here. The room and toilet is clean and well lighted. Lift good.
The linen and towels tattered, basin clogged, all these require management attention immediately.The staff changed linen but they are so old that have turned yellow. As it is located in a small lane off the main road where water logging is frequent even with little rain, it was not possible to enter or exit the hotel without walking through dirty drain water. The drinking water filter is kept on ground floor and we have to fill our own bottles, not even a 500ml bottle is provided in the room which was really unheard of.

This is a small property in a residential area Hotels is a functional property with all basic amenities, passable service and clean rooms. If I look at the positive aspects, rooms were clean, bathroom had hot water and the air-conditioning was very effective in the blistering heat of Chennai.
