I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the unpleasant and unsafe experience we had during our recent stay at your hotel.
Upon entering our room, we found the floor completely wet, which caused my fiancée to slip and fall, resulting in severe pain that lasted throughout the night. I also nearly hit the wall while trying to assist her due to the slippery floor. To make matters worse, the air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly, adding to our discomfort.
We immediately informed the hotel staff about these issues and were assured that management would reach out to us with a resolution. However, despite several days passing, we have not received any call or follow-up from your team.
This lack of response is unacceptable, especially given the seriousness of the incident and the safety hazards involved.

Missed the typical continental options available in other Mariott hotels. Facilities like gym need more cleanliness and better ventilation. Felt claustrophobic.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel’s proximity to the US Consulate makes it very convenient for visa travelers. The front desk staff were polite, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. I appreciated the availability of simple food options like dal khichdi after falling sick from the buffet food at the in-house restaurant.
The food hygiene was very disappointing. On the second day, I experienced stomach issues after eating from the buffet. A few days later, my young son had food poisoning — vomiting and loose motions — after eating at the same buffet. Though the management said food samples were sent for testing, there was no clear communication or follow-up. I was offered a food discount at checkout, but it felt more like a formality than genuine concern — I declined it.
Additionally, the hotel appeared understaffed. I observed the same ground-level staff working long hours every day. It felt like the hotel is relying too heavily on its location advantage near the US Consulate and has become complacent with guest experience and food safety.

For a few days we had brown water running from the taps and shower. The water had a sewage like smell which was possibly the reason we were ill with gastrointestinal problems for 3 days. The rooms were never cleaned properly. We always had to ask for bathroom towels even though the staff knew we were 3 in a room. I paid premium price for this room. Couldn’t believe this was a Marriot. The whole experience felt like we were staying in some cheap local hotel.

The property has not refunded our money for 1 room even though we canceled it within the time frame specified by booking.com. They charged us for the rooms in advance even though no prepayment was required. Staff was very rude, facilities were terrible with dirty brown water running through the faucets. Hotel absolutely price gouged raising the prices 3x than the usual because of a mega event and did not even provide the basic customer and hospitality service expected from a Marriott. Booking.com should look into this especially the part where they charged us in advance for the entire amount when no prepayment was required and secondly for not refunding the canceled room charges, otherwise we will hold booking.com legally responsible for this issue. Hygiene was so poor that all of my family was terribly sick.
