Very Good
We had a very nice comfortable and enjoyable stay, the staff were very attentive and the ambience was wonderful.The facilities were good and a swim in the pool was really very pleasant with towels provided. The only negative aspect was there was no Wi-Fi in available in the rooms, one has to sit in the reception area to use the Wi-Fi, which is a nuisance as these days one is obliged to be online all the time to manage everything. Overall though we had a very pleasant stay, a pity it was only two nights, I would happily stay for longer.

Wonderful
- A great heritage property wherein the history is well documented and preserved. There are pictures all over the corridors of the property showcasing the watershed moments over the last 100 odd years. - Very genial staff and are quite helpful - Good wining and dining options available on the property itself. - It's right in the heart of the city very close to the Junagarh fort.
- Some of the amenities are not operational - swimming pool, gym - A walking tour around the property to explain its heritage would be amazing - Better communication skills as it receives a decent number of Foreign tourists - A brief cultural show that gives a glimpse of the Rajasthani culture can be accommodated as part of the experience

It is a great property, in a great location. But that is the only good thing about it.
The facilities, upkeep, conveniences, hospitality, cleanliness were all way below sub par.

location
it is like paying for a heritage hotel but getting amenities like a budget hotel. booking.com stated balcony with rooms but property didnt have anything of the like at all. Staff does not know how to cater to guests, lots of arguments over prebooked rooms types, no training to the staff-inflexible staff , bad upkeep of rooms, torn upholstery ,dated beds, curtains were dirty, WC no pressure. washroom did not have enough water in winters. only reedemable quality was the restaurant and size of rooms. the property is under trust and really the staff needs to keep up with trends and not treat property like a dormitory if its being sold as a heritage property. staff was clueless about how booking.com worked and couldnt provide resolution for nless spoken with a contact number that was provided o nwebsite

this is an actual palace and also has the first firing range of India and at the same time the royal family is living in the palace. there is also a private railway station belonging to the royal family. the rooms are very large and my older brother got to stay in the room specially modified for Amitab Bachan. the staff is very kind and hospitable the manager gave us a tour of the private part of the palace as well

Its a gorgeous palace hotel. The staff was very good.
Needs some maintenance work and modernization. It could be as good as any 5 star hotel if taken care properly. Tourism also needs to be promoted in Bikaner.
