The family who run the place are very helpful and kind. It is an economic choice. Good breakfast.
Kind of a dumpy place. You get what you pay for, but there are other small charming and cheap places in the same area.

Close to the Taj Mahal. Clean facilities and comfortable shower. Puja and Aiyush were amazing and very friendly. Great food.
They arranged a guide for the Taj Mahal that met us at the stay, Mohammed Tareq, he was amazing. Would recommend. And took great pictures as well!

The food was all home cooked and incredibly delicious. Pooja and Aiyush were both extremely helpful and cooperative. When there was a hiccup in the payment process, they were kind and flexible. Also, incredible location--walking distance to the Taj Majal!

Loved the owners, they are very welcoming and helpful, shared some useful tips. This homestay was better than in the pictures and our expectations. The best home cooked paneer in the world. I have to come back and take the coocking lesson! We were sad to leave... When in Agra, I will always choose this place. P.s. very close to Taj Mahal, we walked approx. 15 min

We had a wonderful stay at Ayiush's (the owner) homestay. The owners live downstairs and are always just a message or phone call away. The house is beautifully decorated, and they are fantastic hosts. They're such caring hosts that they even packed food for our little daughter for the trip back. Ayiush also helped us arrange a local tour guide. The homestay's close proximity to the Taj Mahal makes it even more appealing. We had both lunch and breakfast here, and it was such a relief to enjoy homemade meals after being on the road for so long.

Breakfast and Lunch was very good. Dinner was good, but limited in selections.
Aiyush and Pooja went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. They arranged for SUV rides from Delhi to Agra and back. The also arranged tour guides that were exceptional. Mohammed was our tour guide - very knowledgeable and a very good photographer. Made our trip memorable.
We liked everything about our trip.
The experience can be enhanced by sharing a menu of what is about to be offered with the days lunch or dinner.
Turn the hot water geyser more than 15 minutes ahead of time if you want a pleasant hot shower.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I should mention delicious food they cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner - we enjoyed both the food and the casual talk at the dinner table. There is a shared terrace on the roof - the view is spectacular (Taj Mahal is seen at a distance). No questions to the room and facilities - all perfect.
Special thanks to their tuk-tuk driver - he is quite a character, helped us a lot with navigating the city.
Rooms are of different sizes, not all of them are on the pictures. You might want to ask the hosts upfront if you need a specific room (ours was a bit smaller and without a shower curtain).

We spent 2 nights here and everything was perfect.
The hosts were incredibly hospitable, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfasts.
The room was comfortable and very clean.
Most importantly, they supported us in getting an amazing guide (Ahmed) for our tour of the Taj and the Fort. He was incredibly knowledgeable and also took great pictures for us!
We also got a tuktuk driver for our whole stay - it was great value for money and drove us around whenever we wanted to go somewhere.
We cannot recommend this home stay enough, everything was perfect!
If you are not a fan of chain hotels and want to get a memorable experience with the comfort of a nice hotel, then this is the perfect place!

Staying here felt like a breath of oxygen coming from New Delhi. The room was quiet and we managed to get a good sleep before waking up and walking to Taj Mahal. The hosts were so nice and warm making us feel very comfortable. I really recommend this stay in Agra. Bonus: we ate a very good and full dinner (plus the next morning breakfast)!

What a find!
Khas Mahal Homestay is run by a wonderful couple with a helpful staff.
The rooms are spotless with clean sheets, air conditioning, and lots of water pressure.
Pooja makes a tasty breakfast, and dinner, and welcomes fun conversation at the table.
The Taj Mahal is an easy 10 minute walk.

The room was amazing and staff was very helpful when I had some medical issues. They walked me through everything, including a doctor's visit, and made sure that I was well taken care of.

Aiyush and Pooja are the perfect hosts.
Aiyush is such a supporting person and helping you with the complicated Indian Railway bookings, any guides you need, money exchange and whatever else needed.
He is really honest in helping you and making your stay as comfortable as possible.
I am very thankful for their warm welcome and help they provided to navigate through India.
And the cherry on the top is the yammy food from Pooja, you shouldn't miss!

The food (breakfast as well as a dinner) was totally home made. Very hygienic. No fear of a stomach infection ! What a delight.

Pooja and Ajyush are amazing host, very welcoming and helpfull. Rooms are nice, clean and quite, only 10-15 min walk from Taj mahal. Breakfast was delicious. Ajyush sorted bus for us to our next destination which was impossible for us to book on our own. Highly recommended.
I loved everything and would rate my stay 11 out of 10 if I could :)
