Hotel Aman is an absolute recommendation for all who visit Agra. From the beginning we were well taken care of by the entire team both in the hotel and with important information about sightseeing. The room was particularly nice, very clean, fully equipped and spacious. We were also lucky enough to get an upgrade to the room and were able to check out a little later. Also a cash exchange at the current rate was no problem. The location of the hotel was really amazing and very close to the Taj Mahal.
The prices for coffee and tea were a bit high.
During our stay there was some renovation work which sometimes made it a bit noisy. This was not a problem for us as the work was finished in time.
However, the above points were absolute trifles for us.

It's like coming home. We were welcomed late at night and were amazed about the rooms. Whatever we requested, the family was very helpful. The food was very delicious and home made. The cook took care of the spices. From a rooftop terrace, you can see Taj Mahal. Big thank you to all of them who made our stay so comfortable!

Highly recommend Aman homestay for anyone visiting Agra. The family was lovely and very helpful. It is only a 5 min walk away from the east gate free shuttle service. If you stay you have to try the Dinner it was the best food we had in india so far !

Absolutely amazing stay at this family hotel! Very friendly and nice hosts! Room was very clean and spacious!
We tried the homemade dinner and breakfast and everything was very authentic!
They arranged a pickup taxi from the airport and a dropoff at Jaipur. You can also exchange money and good rates!
Definitely recommend this place!

Exceptional homestay experience with Aman ji and his respected family. Our hosts were so pleasant, and it was apparent that extensive efforts and attention to detail has gone into creating a wonderful homestay experience that goes above and beyond. The location, which is barely half a kilometre away from the Taj Mahal East Gate shuttle point, is definitely a plus as well. Our room was cozy, well designed, clean, and private. Breakfast was fresh, home cooked, and delicious. The gracious hosts do their best to entertain all reasonable requests and have informative answers to all questions about the area. A true pleasure to stay with Aman ji and his family. Will recommend to anyone travelling to Agra, especially those with the Taj Mahal, itimad ud Daulah etc in their itenary.

Large clean room. Comfortable bed. Good air conditioning.
There was a lot construction that I was not made aware of although it did not impact our stay too much. Noise was not a problem. We were disappointed the roof terrace was a building site.

The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to the Taj Mahal. The staff is very kind and helpful. Check in was easy. They arranged a car for us to go to Jaipur.
It is to no fault of the hotel but it was under renovation when we arrived. They messaged us ahead of time to let us know and asked if we wanted to cancel for free. We opted to stay because we were only there for one night.

Very kind staff. Waited for us despite the delay of the train at night. Recommended us a very nice trip outside Agra with an excellent driver.
The toilet was a bit small with not the best distribution (sink inside the shower).

Aman Homestay is a clean and well located place to stay with the most courteous staff (thanks Aman). The rooms are large and well appointed (though some have no windows). There is a rooftop that gives a good view of all Agra has to offer. Mr Babloo offers a kind of concierge service doubling as a driver and tour guide.
The building works that had been scheduled to finish with monsoon had been delayed. This meant that access to the rooftop was through a building site, and there was a lot of noise during the day (at times when you might want to shelter from the sun by taking a nap). When it's finished (soon), this will be an excellent place to stay.

Great location and friendly staff
The whole place was under renovation and we were only informed a few hours before check-in.
While the rooms were clean, all common areas were dirty with workers going up and down the stairs with bags of cement.
The experience was not according to the pictures. We booked rooms with a private terrase which was not accessible as it was a construction site.
The hotel should have been closed.
