Horrible staff and you have to wait for someone to open the door for you when coming in the lobby so if it's hot raining they might be in the bathroom and in the idk where but making guest wait is horrible it doesn't matter if it is just one minute

Nothing stands out as something to like.
Cockroaches outside the hotel foyer. Forced to pay in advance before being allowed to our room. Room not clean, with a broken shower and broken furniture. Night desk staff unhelpful and poor quality breakfast. We will never visit the place again, quite shocked with the state of the property.

The breakfast selection was very generous, displayed nicely, clean and fresh. The wait staff was friendly and inviting. We had problems with the air conditioner. Each time we called the desk there was an immediate response and a technician appeared within minutes.
For the most part the hotel is old and not kept as one would expect. Much of the furniture and curtains in both the communal areas and our room are old and stained, or scratched. The whole hotel could use a good cleaning and update. The WiFi only worked in the lobby and dining room, but not in our room.

Pleasant
It was a very spontaneous trip to Tel Aviv, so we took the first hotel that was affordable. It’s a quite big and old building. The location was great, so we could easily walk to the beaches and to all other sightseeing destinations. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We arrived on Friday evening, which was really stupid, since it was Shabbat. It was quite late when we got to the hotel. Luckily the restaurant was still open, we were told the price. Receptionist who was on duty the next told us completely different price which was much higher than the night before. Room service was coming every day but the bathroom was not clean, it was a quick surface cleaning. Air conditioner was too loud.

10 minutes walking distance from the clock tower and the main attractions in Jaffa. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Big and comfortable room with a lot of space.

They said I had to cancel and get a new reservation, because I listened 2 children, one 17 year old and one 14 year old, which was correct and proven by their pass ports. They finally allowed me to to use the reservation if I made another reservation for myself, a single room for me, which I did ! As it was 10 p.m. and I wanted to get my people in rooms, as we had been traveling from Maine, U.S.A. 4 hours to the airport, then 9 and 0ne half hour flight. Ten a 2 hour wait, and a 2 and a half flight

Staff and Service was excellent. Location was great. Room was spacious, nice with both fridge and facilities for boiling water.
It would be better with cups and glasses than single use carton cups. Both pillows were really thick (too thick for our comfort), it would be nice to have an alternative pillow with less filling

Disappointing
We came to the hotel around 6 pm and they said that only 2 of the 3 rooms we reserved are ready. After I said that I would complain to Booking com that this was not an acceptable situation and that I wanted to talk to the responsible person, they immediately gave me the change
