Breakfast was ok, even though we’re tourists as soon as we checked in we were told we needed to pay an additional local taxes, meant for Israeli residents only, an extra fee of $230. We were not notified a head of time of such a fee ,we tried to explain that we are from Miami living in the is for the past 50 years and only came to visit for 8 days, we were told by the receptionist that if we’re not going to pay immediately m, -1 pm at night, we would have to find another place while our stay will not be refunded. At this point we had to pay. Very poor handling will never be back!!!!

Location was great
We had two separate beds, and honestly it felt like being back in childhood, they were extremely narrow. It really didn’t feel considerate or comfortable for guests. We were very disappointed.

My parents stayed in the New Port Hotel during their trip to Israel. They were really happy with location, stuff was super helpful and room was equipped with everything you need
Breakfast was a big disappointment, there were no basics like eggs (omlet, boiled eggs), but a lot of pastries, which are not super great for people who want proper breakfast

Size of room was a bit small, no street parking, paid parking lot nearby, not so convenient & expensive...less expensive parking was a 10 minute walk back to hotel ,so leave your car at home
