We recently spent 3 wonderful nights at Herods Tel Aviv By The Beach, and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Special shout-out to Amy, Asaf, and Corin — they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home from check-in onward. The staff truly elevated the entire experience.
The location is unbeatable: the hotel sits directly on the beach, with access just steps from the entrance door. The views from our room were sublime, overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean and the lively promenade. It’s perfectly positioned — a quick stroll takes you to the vibrant heart of Tel Aviv with its restaurants, shops, and nightlife, yet you still feel the relaxing beach vibe.
The breakfast was outstanding — fresh, varied, and one of the best we’ve had anywhere. Generous buffet with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with excellent beds that ensured a great night’s sleep every time.
Overall, for the quality, location, views, comfort, and service we received, this offered incredible bang for your buck — probably the best value beachfront hotel in Tel Aviv right now.
Highly recommend — we’d happily return!

I like the foods it's perfect. The staff were very helpful. The room was amazing but to little bit hot.

The only good thing about the property is the location
The place is just filthy, the level of dirt , grime and unclean spaces is disturbing.
The pool is actually a cesspool, the water is murky and dirty , the smell is overwhelming,on the floor garbage of every kind and none bothers to clean.
The hotel premises is permeated by a murky smell that they try to conceal with perfume.
The staff at the entrance of the hotel is rude : when we arrived , family of 6 with luggage and a large car I was screamed at “ NO BELLBOY NO PARKING”.
The rooms are small and full of mold on the walls and the ceiling. Sprinklers are rusty and dirty , the mirror in the room was never cleaned in 7 days stay.
The WC flush had a problem , I complained 4 times , they never succeeded to fix it although they tried.
On Shabbat we took the stairs to get to the lobby … the amount of leftover food from room service that stayed for more than 24H was disgusting ( chicken legs half eaten, fruits, wine cutlets greasy potatoes).
Bottom line. Far from a hotel maybe a bad Hostel.

Wonderful Stay!
Herods Tel Aviv exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect—right on the beach—with amazing views. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Would definitely stay again!
