The location was perfect close to everything even though a bit far from the TelAviv Bus/Train Station. The light in the apartment was great and spacious.
Communication very complicated with the owner. He didsn't read my messages on WhatsApp so I had to wait him when I arrived. The apartment was supposed to be ready for 15h and it was absolutely not. I had to waste 1h30 of waiting because he had to clean the apartment completely. Then I was supposed to use the laundry machine but he decided to bring me more powder the day after that he never brought... A neighbor had to give me some as I needed to do a laundry after a week of roadtrip... Very bad experience, very annoying and sad to finish my trip in Israel on that note and that apartment. Also the cleaning could be way better as you have dust on the furnitures, the floor is not well cleaned...

1. Location, location...most vantage with the Jerusalem Beach about 5 mins to the left (and where key buses that ply main attractions are), oh and a small launderette (15 nis a load, accepts 5 nis coin) nearer in that direction, casual restaurants almost immediately to the right with a Chinese to boot not to mention Carmel Market further down that direction under 10 mins away. Then just directly across is a small bus stop just servicing 18 and 61 but the former brings one right to the Savidor Train Station n Arlozorov Bus terminal (better than the dated, maze-like Central Bus Station where escalators mostly don't work except for #7) where bus 480 goes to Jerusalem Central Bus Station .
2. Good water pressure for shower n a new looking bathroom sink with ample space for toiletries.
3. Was given ground floor room which at that point was glad as after over a month travelling Turkiye, Egypt n Jordan could not conceive lugging luggage up to #4 without a lift.
1. Tried contacting property prior via Booking.com provided avenue of 'send a message' but only after asking latter to prompt former did a clip one finally come. No guidance on check in came until i arrived at the doorstep which is not always reassuring to travellers. There was no hello, welcome nor initiated useful info about neighbourhood and my three queries which i thought a local might know better than guidebooks/web received 'i dont know' n to 'check Google maps...' I had actually changed apartment booking because i read reviews that proprietor was nice n helpful and had thought it most needful during this challenging time in the country and especially when am an elder, solo, Southeast Asian female traveller.
2. There were no washing machine, hairdryer, microwave...as described under facilities. Glad for the one pot that is still decent with base quite unmarred and good for simple cooking.

The apartment was clean and has a great location. Amir was great also the bar he owns downstairs was fun and we made friends there during karaoke
