Wonderful
This was our second visit to 130 rock apartments. We enjoy the apartments, the size of the room, the big bathroom and quiteness of the place. It feels like you´re the only guest present. The area is amazing for walks (including walks to the beach), foods and drinks.

The location is PERFECT. The room, actually, a mini suite, was spacious, airy, and clean.
Because it is not exactly a hotel, there is no staff around, and occasionally one person filling in as a receptionist downstairs, at the entrance to the building. There is a nice kitchenette but for some reason, no paper towels available AT ALL.
Room cleaning is only done once every 3 days, but at least clean towels and extra toilet paper should be made available.

Disappointing
The location is great. Could be a bit noisy at night but if you close the windows you can barely hear the outside. I expected as much due to its location.
I had two issues during my stay that unfortunately were not resolved to my satisfaction.
1. The first night - there were feces in the shower. I asked to reclean my room and was told that they only clean every 3 days. Pictures were provided both nothing was done unfortunately.
2. During my first night I kept waking up because a battery died in one of their devices. I was told that it happens often and that they replace it. It was fixed but other than say “sorry” nothing really was done even though I didn’t sleep much because of the noise. I expected a bit more from the staff/ hotel.

The property has a shelter, but it was closed to people from a neighboring building who were begging to come in. Some of them even approached me crying and asking to enter the shelter during the alarm.
According to Israeli law, all shelters must remain open during a missile alert, regardless of the type of property or ownership. The next day, I walked down the entire street — this was the only building and hotel with closed gates and locked doors during the alarm.
After the first night of bombings and sirens (which lasted all night), the owner called me at 6 a.m. and accused me of disrespecting the property simply because I had opened the door to the shelter and hotel to let people in.
As for the room itself — it’s good for the location and the price.

Perfect location, clean, well appointed with amenities.
Only applicable if you are staying for Shabbat and observant - Not conducive for a sabbath observer - gate, front door and room door all electronic, with no option for a manual key.

Very complete room. Big closet to hang your clothes, nice sized bathroom, windows you can open. Overall clean.
The rooftop terrace is amazing, I only didn't understand why the music is turned on so loud! Even though we had planned to drink some wine enjoying the nice tempatures we only stayed a couple of minutes.

Amazing location, wonderful and helpful staff. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and a pretty large bathroom. The soundproofing is quite good for being on such a loud street. Lots of restaurants and cafes around.
The bed could have been more comfortable, but that was the only downside of the place. The wifi was a bit spotty in the room where we stayed.

We stayed at the Ben Yehuda Apartments which are run by the same company. The apartment was clean, basic, and a reasonable size. It was well situated for access to the beach and the Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
The taxi that was supposed to meet us as the airport failed to meet us so we had to arrange and pay for our own taxi.
We did not stay at Rock Apartments as access to the building requires electronic keys which we could not use over the Jewish Sabbath. Fortunately for us the same company runs 119/121 Ben Yehuda Apartments which was more Sabbath observant friendly.
