The roof terrace was a great place to relax with a beautiful view. Hotel employee went out of his way to help me get my baggage to the Damascus Gate taxis and was extra accomodating in other ways.

Beautiful place and given the challenging realities all around managing an excellent, comfortable hotel.
I was disappointed with the breakfast ...my kids did not like it at all and also I had great expectations due to the photos which showed yummy food. It was wonderful to go up to the roof but disappointed that it was not possible to buy drinks or food there. Seems like a perfect spot for a restaurant, especially as nothing else was open in the old city, hopefully next time and definitively will come back.

This hotel masterfully delivers a premium package of frustrations:Fake Double Bed: They simply pushed two single beds together. They kept separating all night.Terrible Location: Prepare for a forced 15-minute hike just to get anywhere.Broken TV: The television was just a useless wall ornament that refused to turn on.No Fridge: Apparently, keeping your drinks cold is a futuristic luxury they cannot afford.Save your money. Avoid this place unless you love walking, sweating, and staring at a blank screen.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful atmosphere and comfortable rooms to the friendly and welcoming staff. The service was outstanding, and everyone especially Abed(Abu Daoud) went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and I truly felt at home throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. I can’t wait to come back!

An Unforgettable Stay at Hashimi Hotel ❤️☕️Highly Recommended! Hashimi Hotel is perfectly located ???right in the heart of the Old City and close to everything. You can literally walk to the Old City bazaar, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, and many other famous holy and historical sites in just a few minutes. It’s the best base if you want to explore Jerusalem on foot and really feel the soul of the city. The staff are incredibly accommodating??truly generous, gentle, and so kind. Even the other guests were wonderful; most of them were from the UK ??. We met around 45 people who came as part of a group tour around Jerusalem, and they were all such warm, friendly people. It felt like being part of a big family. The food was fantastic?you will never go hungry here. Although breakfast wasn’t included in our booking, they still gave it to us for free. Not only breakfast, but even lunch and dinner they offered us everything we needed and more. In the lobby, there’s a 24/7 coffee and water area. If you go down to the zero floor, that’s the kitchen?and even if you don’t ask, they will offer you drinks and something to eat… even dessert ?. Their hospitality is truly next level. The rooftop views were absolutely amazing. At night, you can clearly see the Dome of the Rock and other famous tourist spots in Jerusalem??it was so peaceful and breathtaking, especially after a long day of walking around the Old City. The hotel was very clean and well organized. We were amazed by the Arab-style decorations and antique pieces; they were so interesting and added so much character and charm to the place. It was our first time staying in an Arab hotel, and I must say?we definitely have to go back again and stay much longer. Highly recommended!

The location and the view simply cannot be beat! The staff were also welcoming, and the room was comfortable (though do not expect a view from the room).
Couples will have to confirm that they're married, or will be asked to pay for an additional room.

I loved the view of the ancient city of Jerusalem. The hotel entrance into the old city is the Damascus gate. Not far to the hotel.
