Wonderful
I choose this hotel for the first time, when my regular hotel in the neighborhood went nuts with their ridiculous pricing. And after 3 nights there, I have to admit, I would like to return. There were some minor issues, but those were quickly sorted and solved, and after all it was a very satisfying stay. Clean room, very tasty breakfast, top location w/ Ben Yehuda St and Jaffa Rd just around the corner.
I wished the hotel would stop pushing guests several times upfront by email to deliver passport details by email, and to pay in advance, despite I had choosen the "Pay upon Arrival" booking option. They ignored my replies.
And it is a bit annoying when you get asked by email, at what time exactly you plan to check out the next day on departure. While 2-3 days in Jerusalem, no o e wants to be bothered with this kind of stuff.

One guy at Front desk is not a kind person. He never helped us with anything. The room was too small for three people.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was rich and varied, and the room and its facilities were clean. The location is great -within walking distance of various attractions, including the Old City, Mamilla, Jaffa Street, and Mahane Yehuda Market. Public transportation is nearby, and parking is available at the hotel (we used it from the second day once a space became available).
The top-floor balcony was nice, but adding a coffee/tea station would make it even more functional and enjoyable.

The location of the hotel can't be beat. We were in heart of the city. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent. And when we wanted to stay an extra day, the staff made it happen. A wonderful hotel.

Since discovering it, this is my go-to hotel in Jerusalem. It's not fancy, but it gives you everything you need. The breakfast buffet is quite ample, although I would have appreciated fresher scrambled eggs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location in the centre of West Jerusalem more-or-less equidistant between Mahane Yehuda and the Old City can't be beat. And compared to other housing options in Jerusalem, the price is quite reasonable.
Nothing! The Eyal Hotel provides everything that I expect it to.
