Wonderful
Very good hotel. Maintaining it's high standards over the years. Big and comfortable room with all amenities. We were also upgraded to a nicer room which was fantastic. Breakfast very good by Israeli hotel standard. Large nice pool for relaxing.
Staff could have been more kind. Some smiles would be appreciated. Room was not perfectly clean as expected. Location- a bit far from center but good public transportation within a few minutes walk.

We had the most amazing experience. The staff is beyond nice, polite and helpful. The public spaces as well as the rooms are spotless clean. Breakfast was exceptional. The hotel offers a wide variety of of activities for children and the spa is a real treat. The seating area around the pool is vast with lots if options for shade, sun, half shade half sun.
The area around the pool doesn't have a special non slip floor so it is very slippery and one must watch his step. No running! They should change that to make it more safe. Signs saying "whet floor" are simply not enough

Disappointing
My stay was incredibly disappointing: I was paying over $400/ night- arrived to a fridge with no shelves, a dirty bathroom garbage, and no hand towels. The breakfast food was good but given the number of guests I had to wait over 40 minutes for a place in the dining room. By my fourth day, I didnt even bother with breakfast. I will acknowledge that the staff tried to help but there wasnt much they could do given the amount of people wanting breakfast! I ordered food from the bar one lunchtime, for myself and 2 of my children and baby- again after a ridiculously long wait, and no food, we gave up and I asked for my money back. The waitress who had initially taken our order was very embarrassed but nothing she tried to do helped get us our food! I returned one evening to my room having been out all day to find the room had not been cleaned....Staff were outside smoking in no smoking areas, and casually dropped the cigarette butts on the ground. I had anticipated that a stay at a Dan hotel would be well worth the money I was spending, even during high season. I was mistaken. The most the hotel would compensate me was a 30% off at a future Jerusalem / Jerusalem area Dan hotel, excluding the King David, arguing they could not do anything else as I had booked through booking.com. And why would I want to stay at another Jerusalem Dan given the experience I had just had!! The management was quite patronising ( ' Maybe stay at a smaller hotel?") and very unhelpful.

They upgraded us to a suite so the room was very comfortable. The check in was actually very easy
The parking was a problem is Shabbat ended they’re asking me to move my car which I couldn’t so I had to have some random person with my car for me, which was just an inconvenience. The pool was improperly supervised as people were putting chairs wherever they wanted, and it was way overcrowded with children and noise and music on Shabbat.

Room, very good breakfast
Activities and games room for children open only during holidays and weekends and closed on other dates;
Spa is for adults only and we didn’t know it from before so our baby had no activities and we had to going “in turns” (switch) so that one parent stays in the room with the child. Also, spa pool is quite small. But all in all, the hotel is very good!

Great accomodations. Staff at checkin and checkout was very helpful and welcoming. All staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of public space to be with friends also at the hotel.
Have to remember to keep key cards away from cell phones.

The hotel was amazing, food was great. great location. the team (Rima, Nidal and Ibrahim) were simply amazing and verified that everything that we needed was provided. i strongly recommended booking the Dan Jerusalem Hotel, and for sure we will come back again the future.
