Very Poor
The staff was terrible especially Ahmad who insulted us and was very agressive and charged our card double right after we left. If he got fired the hotel was nice but be aware of him

I usually don’t write reviews but this time I really must say thanks to JOHN, I think he’s in charge of guest relations, however, he was a huge help and was always available and quick to help and find me solutions.
Thanks John!

Pleasant
Room was, staff so-so, breakfast v good esp for shabbat
The hotel was clearly reserved by a huge block of very religious people, who, first, filled the public spaces so that others simply had to flee, made a racket at breakfast, but, mostly, did not know how to control their many children who filled the halls outside our room with loud shouting; and the parents did not even think to hold them in the rooms.
In short, when there is a booking of this sort, the hotel should at least warn others or simply not accept other reservations. It turned what could have been a pleasant experience into a not pleasant one; and I add that I am myself a reasonably traditional practitioner. Ah yes, the parking is highly problematic, and it was only with insistences that I was able to get space for a very small car.

Good
Clean and comfortable! Near the old Train station with lots of restaurants. Easy to get the bus to go to the center! Our room was on the fifth floor which was newly renovated!
The room was very basic although I upgraded it! The hotel is situated in a nice and quiet place but not very near the center! Unfortunately lacking some color and livelihood that we would have liked to see despite the present circumstances!

What the room had:
Outside the main bedroom -
= A sliding closet, with 2 sections, outside of the main bedroom that have shelves for storage
= A desk with a plug/or 2 nearby
= A lamp
= A fancy (to me anyway) coffee table
= A couch (which I think could turn into a bed if needed but I didn't inspect it enough to see)
= A single bed
= A TV with a remote + a guide to watch channels they offer
= A kitchen that had a fridge and freezer (we kept food and water in it, everything was kept cool and fresh), a hot water urn that came with 2 glass cups + a mix of coffee and tea bags, an oven (we didn't use since we didn't need it), a plug-in cooking top with 2 sections (we didn't use since we didn't need it), and a table to sit/eat at. The kitchen has a window with a screen so you can let in the cool air of Jerusalem without worrying about letting in bugs or birds
= A balcony with a nice view (to me anyway) which had 2 chairs and a table. The balcony doors do not have a screen but there are curtains in front so those can act as a shield. I would def say to air on the safe side and just keep the kitchen window with the screen open and when you go onto the balcony, close the door after you
Main bedroom -
= A sliding closet, with 2 sections, that had an area to hang items, shelves to place items and the safe
= 2 master beds
= A TV with a remote + a guide to watch channels they offer
= The bathroom is located here, has a shower/tub with a wall shower head or handheld shower head, towels, toilet, sink, and the hotel toiletries
Great location = you are near the First Station, great walking to the Kotel or the center of town, if you need a bus to the central bus station the 74/75 are close by
There is parking = in the front or in the back. I didn't have a car for this trip.
Everything was really great so I have nothing bad to say. I'm just using this section to write more good things since there seems to be a character limit:
Cafe/Restaurant/Bar -
= I paid extra for the breakfast and it was so worth it.
= You can get an custom omelette made in the kitchen
= There is an electric coffee machine with different options to choose from otherwise they always have a hot water urn or coffee already made in a hot water urn. And when it is the shabbat, the electric coffee machine is covered
= There are cakes and cookies
= There are different cut fruit, canned fruit, dried fruit, and nuts that you can eat separately or if you want to combine with the available plain yogurt
= There are packages yogurts, a mix of kid ones/sugary ones/or diet versions
= There are different types of cheeses served
= There are different types of fish served
= There are individual vegetables and different types of salads
= There are hard boiled eggs and scrambled eggs
= There are blinztes, waffles, pancakes, bourekas, mini cheese cakes
= There is milk and chocolate milk
= There are 3 iced containers that have water, orange juice and lemonade
= There will be staff to ask you what your room number is, just to double check you paid
= I didn't use the bar, order lunch/dinner but I passed people who did and everything looked good (to me anyway)
Things to keep in mind:
= There is free wifi. However, it is open/not locked. Either use a VPN before opting into using the wifi, use your phone as a hotspot, or be risky an use the open wifi
= If you are shabbat observant, they do have a shabbat elevator + a shabbat door notice so, if you do let in any cleaning staff, they won't turn off any of the lights you left on. However, in the hotel rooms there is just a square bar of soap, there is no liquid soap except in the public bathrooms by the cafe within the building.

The noise peaked during the weekend with higher volume of guests due to a holiday. Children were loud and unattended playing in the hallways

I loved the location and the proximity to all the sites to visit. Great location for take out & delivery and restaurants. I also liked the facilities how pleasant the staff were. Also parking available which was great.
No complaints- really. Just no trolly was available when we were checking out. No room service during the weekday.
