Disappointing
The stuff in the beginning was not helpful and they talk to us very rudely!!! after sending massage to the hotel via booking they correct the room reservations. The towels in the room wasn’t clean

We stayed at the balcony suite.
The balcony was outstading, we loved it, we loved the Jacuzzi and the daybed as well as the amazing view.
The rooms are dated, AC in the kids room did not work, the room had bad smell, the shower was leaking (the glass did not seal properly and water kept leaking everywhere on the floor). The bathtub plug was stuck so we had to unscrew it to get the water to drain during shower.
The only thing provided by the hotel in our bathroom (our room was in the King Club/executive floor) was ONE shower cap. That's it. No cream, no tooth paste, no ear buds. Nothing else.
I am confused how this is considered 5 star hotel.

Very nice staff. Hotel is at a good location near the beach and promenade. Nice pool. Very good breakfast and dinner (there is a lot of choice)
Cleaning of the room was not perfect for example they didn't clean the coffee cups and refilled coffee and tea.
And the days of the chag - the pool was very packed. And people are taking seats from early in the morning and don't come to the pool but they take seats and beds and there is no seat for the people who actually are there.
Also I saw one of the employees cleaning a floor mop in the sink to wash hands (netilat yadaim). It os absolutely not respectful and shouldn't be seen in a hotel of this rank.
Also the lack of parking is a real issue.

I have stayed in various hotels in Eilat several times, but nowhere had such a diverse menu as here. The cuisine is the best part of this hotel.
My room was cozy and clean. The furniture and decor are a bit old but in good condition. I didn't use the spa or gym.
The refrigerator in my room wasn't working. I contacted the reception. They accepted my complaint but did nothing. Only after complaining through Booking.com a technician come and replace the refrigerator.
The tropical shower wasn't working; I had to fix it myself with hair ties.
The bar staff in the lobby were very unpleasant: they had sour expressions and treated any request as if I owed them something. They don't know English (I barely managed to buy tea). I don't recommend the cocktail menu: the ingredients listed in the menu don't match reality.

Exceptional
We liked all the meals, the pool, jacuzzi and VIP lounge. We were especially happy that the children's club had things that kept all my grandchildren from age 3 to 11 engaged. The last place we stayed at did not have games or activities that were suitable for the older children.
PARKING We could not find parking at the hotel. Once we found parking at a lot the hotel employees told us about, we did not want to go anywheres with the car because we were afraid we would not get parking again. We would stay at King Solomon again except for the parking situation.
