Very clean, nice views, great location
The food in the morning was mediocre, the room service food was not good, we took pasta with cream and mushroom sauce, which came without mushrooms, cold and the sauce was just plain worm cream, didn’t even heated properly and surely not reduced

The hotel has a fantastic location — close to everything yet peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a larger room that had a huge balcony and even a sun bed, perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the complimentary lounge access was a wonderful bonus. Overall, a great experience — we’ll definitely be coming back!

The hotel was always clean and well maintained! A lot of games and activities for kids. The staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn’t ask for more!! Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve been .

Good:
The breakfast is very rich. The location is wonderful. The pool area is very nice. There is a lounge in the neighboring hotel available throughout the day with snacks, which is also a nice touch.
Not good:
The hotel is quite old. The elevators are very slow. The room is old and needs improvement. The bar is closed and drinks are ordered from the neighboring hotel, which ruins the atmosphere. There is no music, There are no evening activities for hotel guests.

We had a wonderful stay at Herods Boutique Eilat! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a suite, which made our experience even more special. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a stunning view of the lagoon, sea, and mountains from the balcony. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. We also received a complimentary dinner for two, which was a lovely touch—and the food was absolutely excellent throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway in Eilat.

Decent location at the end of the beach promenade. Short distances to many restaurants and of course the beach.
Needs updating and renovation badly. The manager informed us, since we complained about multiple things that needed fixing in the room, that such is planned for later this year and the hotel will be significantly improved after this.
The current condition is not reflected at the high price point so currently I would not recommend it. If all the work described by the manager will indeed be done it should be a different story.
I would add that the staff is extremely pleasant, professional and helpful, and things that are wholly dependent on them - like breakfast - show that this can be a fantastic hotel … in the future.

Shirley, the hotel manager, is the only reason this hotel earned such a good review. The hotel is old and in need of a renovation, but Shirley gave us such excellent service and catered to our every need 24/7, which more than made up for any shortcomings in the hotel and made our stay truly worthwhile and memorable. I would definitely return again as long as she is still running the place!
The property is in need of a renovation, but the hotel staff and Shirley in particular find ways to make up for it and make your stay worthwhile

Herods Eilat is the best!
We stayed for about 3 days here, and we really enjoyed the place and its savory and tasty foods; it's home to us. They have the most amazing staff: kind and friendly. The place is so tidy, with everything in its place.
We want to thank Shirley for being so good to us and letting us experience the majestic beauty of Herods Palace. She really has a good soul. Thank you so much; we would love to come back again..

Shriley was awesome she she truly created Value for the place by truly providing us access to the Business lounge, and additional facilities Shirley is truly Magical !!!! Go Go
I believe you need to renovate the external appearance of the Hotel, and the access to the Lobby should be clearly Marked, in addition you should state at Booking the differences between Boutique, Palace etc which would help align the Value for your Buck ! with what you want to get.
Access to the Lobby unclear.
The fact the pool isn't heated is a big issue.

We requested two rooms, each with two double beds and the hotel confirmed it. We got two rooms with one queen bed and they were able to convert one of them later to be two beds
