Amdar Holiday Apartments in Eilat is a collection of single units located around the Eilat Promenade. All units are within walking distance to the beach and the Eilat Promenade where various restaurants, cafes and bars can be found. Free Wi-Fi access and free-to-use barbecue facilities are provided in each unit. Luxurious and modernly furnished accommodations come with a balcony or a terrace and a place to sunbathe. Each unit at Amdar Holiday Apartments features a flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning and some units have a spa bath. The space was clean, there were an oven and a dishwasher, which are extras not every place has.
There weren't enough towels, no bath or kitchen towels, there was no soap in the bathroom, no rags for the kitchen and not enough toilet paper.

Location is great, size of apartment is very good.
The apartment was very dirty, Sheets were stained and full of hair and dirty. Doors were broken. Showers were full of mold. I will not recommend to anyone. Air conditioner in room did not work. The apartment was completely run down and definitely not worth the price they charge.

The location is very good, in a very quiet area, have access to everything you might need.
The cleanliness was very poor, when we arrived the floors were dirty, there were some dry flowers on the floor near the couch. In the showers there were hair on the mirror and on the wall inside the shower. The pans in the pantry were dirty with some dried up food on them… The staff was very short and unpleasant. This is our second stay with Amdar, but the first experience was much nicer.

Very spacious for a group of 4 The kitchen was nice and had all the things you would need. The washing machine is a good addition.
The bathroom had a leakge problem. They didn't respond to any of our messages the entire stay. We needed more towels because the bathroom's floor was flooded almost all the time and we kept using the towels to dry it :/ They didn't give us more towel. They only gave us 8 coffee bags for 4 people, 7 days, and didn't answer for our previous requests so it was a waiste of time to ask them for more coffee...

check in time is listed as 17:00, that's extremely late. we called and asked to check in earlier, eventually we were able to check in at 15:30 after calling a few times and asking to check in earlier that 17:00 we were asked to empty all the garbage cans in the apartment or there would be an extra charge, this was not mentioned in the booking information. showers did not work properly, tha shower in the main bedroom was unusable.

Decent size apartment with balcony overseeing the sea. Fully furnished including kitchen appliances.
The apartment is severely worn out, some floor tiles are either broken or loose (in the apartment as well as building stairs), the wardrobes are old and their doors difficult to move, bathroom doors cracked, Livingroom furniture is sunk and worn out. On third floor with no elevator. We managed well but it needs to be listed for others.

The location is great, you can walk for the promonande, or to the close beach (10-15 min walk) and there's a supermarket within 5 min walk. The appartement is very well suited for a family of 6 like us. The AC is VERY GOOD, which is critical in Eilat, also the beds in the bedrooms were excellent, while the living room's sofa was fine. We also liked the small terrace, was useful for a couple of BBQs we did. This is the 3rd or 4th time we're staying with Amdar, and I'm pretty sure we'll stay with them again Would rate it 8-9 if the issues I mentioned are fixed.
The place is not very well maintained, some are minor issues such as wet walls, seems like they have some sealing issue. But some issues were more disturbing, such as a broken AC outlet neer the TV, and kitchen oven which was not fixed to the cabinet. More, the water heating was not working. At first, we tought we're not operating it right, and also a sunny day gave us enough hot water to work with (seems like the solar system does work). After few night, and a cloudy day, the hot water run out after 3 showers, leaving us showering in cold water. On that specific day I couldn't reach the owner (which is normally highly accesible), but on the next day, when we left I informed them of the issue, so I want to believe they'll fix it... Despite all that, as mentioned above, I'm sure we'll stay again with Amdar.
