Wonderful
Twin room was very spacious and single beds were at least 1 m wide.
Shower flow was strong and water was really warm.
We had a tasty dinner in the restaurant which was reasonably priced. We sat by the open wood fire.
In the morning although breakfast only starts at 8.30, the staff let us order a little after 8 as we had to leave the hotel at 8.30
The room was too warm, which was lovely when we arrived but too warm overnight.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Really lovely room with the sound of the river flowing by. Food good. Band in the bar on the Saturday night with a bit of craic and dancing. Stones throw to Glendalough. Would definitely recommend
The price was fairly high just for the room

Good
The common rooms are beautiful and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast is excellent,
A warning for people booking the small 1-person rooms. The size was fine but more could definitely be done to make it functional and comfortable. For example, the tea kettle sits on a bookcase but there is no electrical outlet there, so you have to put the tea kettle on the floor by the only outlet in the room. That outlet is also the only place to recharge a phone, so it goes on the floor as well. There is no night table so if you want to have a cup of tea in bed, you have to place the cup on the floor. I travelled in Japan for 2 months and the reasonably priced business hotels there have totally figured out how to make a small space comfortable. Lynhams could learn from them.

Exceptional
Gorgeous little breakfast table with a stunning view and beautifully dressed pretty table. All the food was presented perfectly. Bar was fun and lively, Guinness was excellent and the welcome was full of smiles. Hotel was stacked with art, which was restful and stimulating.
