The location was ideal for this portion of our trip in to Glendalough. Easy to find with ample parking in the lot behind the building. Quiet town and hotel. Restaurant on-site has a great menu, kind servers, and great decor and views.
Bed and pillows weren't very comfortable.

Owner tried as hard as she could to charge us a higher price. The common areas and the bathroom could use some TLC.

The common rooms are beautiful and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast is excellent,
A warning for people booking the small 1-person rooms. The size was fine but more could definitely be done to make it functional and comfortable. For example, the tea kettle sits on a bookcase but there is no electrical outlet there, so you have to put the tea kettle on the floor by the only outlet in the room. That outlet is also the only place to recharge a phone, so it goes on the floor as well. There is no night table so if you want to have a cup of tea in bed, you have to place the cup on the floor. I travelled in Japan for 2 months and the reasonably priced business hotels there have totally figured out how to make a small space comfortable. Lynhams could learn from them.

Location was perfect. Bar area had great atmosphere. A private residents area a bonus to have a quiet coffee. Room was lovely, spacious with view of the stream and trees.

Fantastic location.
Comfy bed.
Very nice staff
The hotel needs a refurb. It’s very dated. When a simple pick of paint.
The shower was very difficult to use.
Could do with more staff behind the bar.
Breakfast options pricey. Went to the shop next door instead.

Nice hotel and good location close to Glendalough. Hotel could be called a little dated but rooms very clean and beds comfy. Nice pub downstairs and food was fabulous for both dinner and breakfast.
