The staff at the spa was very accommodating. The pier and town was walkable on a clear day. Beautiful views of Craugh Patrick!
There was a band my second night at the bar that I could hear in my room on the 1st floor and this made it hard to sleep. The linens feel cheap and the bed wasn’t great. It cost 10€ one way to get to town, would be nice if there was a shuttle service.

The room was small but very nice and updated. We had a little balcony but due to weather we really couldn’t use it but enjoyed the view.
When we arrived to our room they left us 2 small bottles of wine and cupcakes!
The breakfast was great we had a nice table each morning on the new Sundeck which was lovely. There was a buffet with fruit, pastries and other items plus hot breakfast choices. Very delicious and excellent service!
The location is great for walking, we walked along the beautiful greenway to the City Center for shopping and lunch. After a friendly shop owner told us about another route by the Historic Westport House back to our hotel. This was a lovely walk as well.
Parking was a bit challenging, we arrived during a rainstorm and couldn’t find a place to park for checkin. My husband double parked so I could run in and ask about parking. I was informed about a small lot in the back of the hotel, luckily we found the last space on an end row. We didn’t move the car during our stay.

It’s far from town. And for the price of it I would have thought it was going to be a lot nicer. The rooms are very old and need updating

The room was of a good standard and very clean. Prime position overlooking Clew Bay. The top floor restaurant, where breakfast is provided, has excellent views. Good range of breakfast items to choose from. Robert on the front desk was very welcoming at checkout. We ate in the bar where the food was good, but on a Saturday it was fully booked and therefore very noisy. Service was acceptable.
We felt that the room rate was too high for the standard of the hotel as a whole. We arrived for breakfast at the same time as a coach party that were staying and were unfortunately made to feel like we were a bit of an inconvenience by one of the staff members.

Assigned room was noisy on the first floor directly above the front door, coach loading and unloading and sidewalk bar seating. Avoid room 103.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay with a fabulous restaurant and wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking is tight but still accessible.
The room was very warm even with the windows wide open.
