Built in 1992, the 5-star The Killarney Park is just a 5-minute walk from the Killarney Train Station. It was very nice and had everything you needed. The pool and leisure facilities were great. The rooms very comfortable and all the hotel spaces such as the Library and various lounges were ideal for relaxing and well set out. We ate in the bar which was very good. We were a family of 4 adults and it was perfect for us. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The nice touch of putting a bookmark in my bedside novel was very much appreciated. The hotel library was excellent.

The Killarney park is excellent. The staff were more than helpful prior to arrival and all were wonderfully welcoming when we got there. They all represented the hotel so well and the whole team do this venue a great service. The hotel was immaculately clean and the attention to detail makes this place special. The food and drinks selection is extensive and we enjoyed all of our meals there. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day to walk around the town or head off and enjoy the tourist attractions (of which there are many and the staffs’ knowledge of all of these was impressive). The pool and spa facilities were great to finish off the day, and for us, made our trip even more enjoyable.
On one of the sunny days we wanted to sit outside and their outside area isn’t as good as the hotel inside. Possibly some more comfortable outside seats/tables would be ideal. Still loved the place.
