Lovely Hotel. All the staff were very friendly & welcoming. Lovely view from our room. Breakfast was tasty & plentiful. Had dinner here one night of our stay and it was lovely. Very clean hotel.
We booked a room with a double bed but found the bed a little on the small side.

Lovely hotel but buffet breakfast could have been a little better, not a huge variety of fresh fruits or cold meats and cheeses.
Younger members of staff deserve huge praise as they were so pleasant and friendly.
Some breakfast staff(not Irish) were not very pleasant and didn't even smile when interacting. Most pleasant members were the younger girls....absolutely beautiful. A shuttle bus into the town would have been a huge bonus, this would influence my choice of accommodation in the future.

Disappointing
I would like to share my experience at the Killarney Heights Hotel, which was extremely disappointing.
Upon arrival, we had to wait approximately 1.5 hours for our room to be ready. After finally receiving our key, we went to the room only to discover that it was already occupied. To make matters even worse, when I opened the door, the couple staying there was in a very private and intimate moment. I immediately closed the door, but the situation was shocking, embarrassing, and uncomfortable for everyone involved. This is a serious mistake that should never happen in any hotel.
I went straight to the front desk to report the incident. The staff member apologized and assigned us a different room, which was fortunately vacant. As compensation, we were given six vouchers for complimentary drinks. While the gesture was appreciated, it did not make up for the distress caused by the earlier incident.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. Later that evening, we decided to use the drink vouchers and order some finger food. The bartender was exceptionally rude and kept me waiting for a long time despite the fact that I was clearly standing at the bar and there were no other customers requiring attention at that moment.
Overall, the combination of the excessive delay, the room allocation error, the extremely uncomfortable situation we were placed in, and the poor customer service at the bar left a very negative impression. I will not be returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Wonderful
Nice hotel restaurant, good location near the town. Easy access to the major areas we wanted to visit. Nice to have amenities like the coffee maker and small refrigerator in the room. Very good breakfast in the mornings.
Not having air conditioning made it a bit more challenging to manage the room temperature. We weren't too uncomfortable - windows opened helped us keep things in a more comfortable range.

Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Reception staff friendly and really helpful.
Restaurant had no atmosphere. Dreadful choice of piped music. Really dreary and depressing.
Waiting staff were helpful enpigh, but seemed a bit aimless. We had to ask for tea and coffee a couple of times at breakfast on day 1, although in fairness day 2 was more organised.
