Booked a private room. Had a little chalet with central heating in the garden. Tea, coffee, kettle. TV. Super clean and warm. Good mattress and pillows. Beautifully cooked fried breakfast and a pot of coffee. Expectations well exceeded. Great value for money. Mike is attentive, available but gives you your privacy. I would stay again.

The breakfast was delicious.
Fruit juice : Fry with sausage, eggs and bacon : Loads of tea and toast
We had the perfect room for us. We were a couple and my sister. Our rooms were in a little annex out the back. We had adjoining double room and a single room. They were separate but shared the same entrance and shared a Jack and Jill bathroom.
There was a lovely seating area outside our room too. It was so quiet, we slept soundly. Very comfortable.
There is on-street parking right outside the door.
We loved it. Location, cleanliness, breakfast, staff, value for money were all perfect.
We would definitely stay here again

The staff were so so nice. I have never met nicer. The room exceeded my expectations. I had walked 20km over mountains, so my body was aching, and the mattress that they had was the most comfortable mattress that anyone could have asked for. I will most definitely be back again. Also, they have a mini fridge in the room, which I think is great for anyone travelling with special diets or certain medication. Superb value for money! ALSO!!! I could see in the room. I hate when you stay in a hotel and the lighting is always crap, this place was so well lit!! FIRE ?

Location was perfect, staff very helpful with check in, places to eat and places to go for a drink.
Room was extremely noisy, you could hear people talking and walking upstairs, and they weren’t being loud. The glass door tothe bedroom offered zero noise proofing from the neighbouring guest entering and leaving or switching the light in and off. Van parked right outside the window of my room and was left running at 7am, which didn’t help either, but that’s not the hostels fault. I just felt the price was steep for what was offered.

What a little gem. Incredibly good value for money and very comfortable beds. Rooms and bathroom are small but clean. Mary made us the best cooked breakfast and gave us some great travel tips.
