Everything was incredible at King Sitric. Our first night there, we accidentally slept late. They called us to let us know they were closing breakfast in a few minutes and to ask if we’d still like breakfast. Every staff member was kind, helpful, and hospitable. The rooms were comfortable and had plenty of space. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious.
Nothing. Everything was amazing!

The location was great, the staff was friendly and very accommodating with any of our inquiries.
I loved our rooms, we had one with twin beds and one with a king sized bed. Both were comfortable and charming. Also the breakfast and breakfast service was amazing. We enjoyed our short stay.
Nothing comes to mind

Breakfast was amazing quality, ordered off the menu. Service excellent. The location of the hotel is the best spot on the waterfront, with great view and easy access to the walking trails. Don’t miss the Cliff Path Loop for a scenic 2 hr leisurely walk with breathtaking views!
This is a small lodge built within the historic footprint and limitations of Howth building codes, so you’re not getting modern construction with completely soundproofed expansive rooms. Think quaint seaside lodge with the rooms above the restaurant. You are careful to keep voices down and tv and music level low. Sound carries. But we loved that because we opened the window and heard the seagulls and sound of the sea while sleeping. To me, these things add to the charm and experience of it, but others who may prefer a fully modernized stay with complete privacy and unable to hear the sound of any neighbor in the hallway, should book elsewhere.

You can't beat this location. The view of the sea from the room was amazing. The staff went above and beyond. We needed to leave before breakfast so they prepared a simple breakfast for us to take to the airport. They also had the best bathroom of any of the hotels we stayed during our trip; rain shower head in a large shower, washcloths (not typical in Europe), and heated towel racks were just some of the amenities that made this special.
An elevator would have been nice, but really, everything else more than made up for it.

Very Good
The location was beautiful with a perfect view of the sea. The room was comfortable and clean and the restaurant was really nice as well - we enjoyed dinner and breakfast there.
Close and easy walk to the cliff walk trails from the hotel.
Parking was easy as well, though I appreciate we were not visiting during high season.
The window was a bit hard to close all the way so it was a little drafty, but not to the point of being uncomfortable or cold.

This is a great hotel. The location alone is worth the price. But then you get a lovely bedroom, a vey attentive staff and a fantastic restaurant to round out the experience. King Sitric is a great find.
There was nothing not to like. The bed was comfortable, the view was breathtaking and there was lots of free parking. Dinner in the hotel was a fish lovers dream and the breakfast was one of the best.

Great location, beautifully decorated, very friendly and helpful staff.
We had to miss the breakfast in the morning due to changes in our flight, but the staff were kind enough to put together a bag of fruit and snacks for the drive to the airport. The breakfast options looked great though, and we were sad to miss it! They also arranged transport to the airport through their chauffeur for a reasonable price for peace of mind without using public transport or a taxi, the driver was very personable and friendly.
The restaurant attached was fantastic and was able to assist with dietary restrictions, would recommend making reservations.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, it felt like two beds put together with a lump in the middle where they connected, as long as you don’t sleep directly in the middle it was fine!

Breakfast was wonderful! Fresh fish, homemade breads, omelets - excellent!
A security light in our room couldn't be turned off at bedtime, which made for a difficult night's sleep. It did go off at one point, but then came back on in the middle of the night, and sadly, I then couldn't fall back to sleep.

Wonderful
Room size was huge and clean. Great views of the harbour. The radiators worked and the room was warm. Bed was very comfortable. There was also additional seating for reading or enjoying the view. Hair dryer, dressing gown and slippers available. Felt luxurious. Great homemade Irish soda bread. Great location for cliff walks. Also great pub next door. Restaurant staff were very friendly.
Issues were only with some of the food. Breakfast didn’t have decaf breakfast teas even though there was a container for it at the bar. No real options for people who are coeliac and need gluten free food with no contamination. They also didn’t have any orange juice on both days of my stay even though indicated on the menu.

Beautiful views of Howth Harbour from this large and well-appointed room. The bed and linens were high quality and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and immaculately clean. The location is great for exploring charming Howth on foot, and also good for people watching on the street below. The staff were friendly and helpful in both the front desk and restaurant. We loved the breakfasts and also enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant. We would most definitely stay here again.
Occasional noise from patrons of the restaurant below sitting outside, but it did not go on late, and did not impact our stay negatively.

Welcoming, warm and helpful staff from top to bottom
Very minor, but the chairs in the room were not very comfortable. Maybe a cushion could help.
