Quaint, clean, walkable to town. Breakfast is made fresh.

We can't say enough wonderful things about The Stop, Russell (owner), and his staff!!!! The entire place is an artist and musician's dream---amazingly decorated with local art (Russell used to curate a gallery) and musical choices played at breakfast were fabulous. The food was delicious. We followed Russell's recommendations for local dining away from the tourist spots as well as how to fill our days exploring the Burren and Connemara. LISTEN TO THE MAN and you will have a fantastic time!!!! If back in Galway, will absolutely try to stay here again. If I could give a rating above a 10, I would!

The location in Galway's west end was wonderful. Lots of great places to eat and close to the center of Galway. Russell was fantastic! He had so many great recommendations for things. He was very accomodating and made our stay wonderful. Breakfast being included is also a nice addition.
Room size was hard for our family of 4 with the smaller bathroom. Just not a lot of places to put things in an older house. Parking is not great if you need to come and go in a larger vehicle. We stayed in the general area so was able to just park for the whole time and not move.

Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood but short walk to all the best spots in Galway - west end, latin quarter, spanish arch.
Delicious breakfast!
Rooms are a little tight, but clean with comfortable bed.

Just a fantastic place to stay: Russell was the perfect host, and all the staff were friendly and helpful with tourist needs and recommendations. That breakfast - particularly the bagel egg sandwich - was next level. The decorations, paintings, music played off records made the whole experience welcoming and, might I even say, magical.
Nothing, really. We were in the top room with the angled ceilings. After I learned not to bash my head when standing in front of the toilet, all was good.

Fabulous in every way! The location was ideal with just a quick walk through the West End into the Latin Quarter of Galway. Russell provided the best recommendations for food, drink, & music! The room was very clean & comfortable. And the breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh homemade treats and local products.
We loved it all and we wish we had stayed an extra night here.
