Exceptional
Very friendly staff, very nice room with all the essentials, for example, sockets in the right places, tissues, coffee making facilities, quiet, air conditioning; etc.
And there was a place on each floor where one could get still and sparkling tap water.
Very comfy bar and a very impressive spa facility.
Cannot wait to return.

Exceptional
Clean, staff friendly, great location
No conditioner in bathroom- it was like body/hand lotion? But very minor thing in grand scheme

Wonderful
Room was lovely, as was on site parking. The breakfast was wonderful! Easy walk to Eyre Square.
A small thing: the toilet didn't flush easily. Had to jiggle handle up and down and flush several times.

Good
Nice facility with good amenities and good location.
Our bed linens were not clean upon arrival. Also, the air conditioning turned itself off in the middle of the night, making the room hot.

Good
Location ,Breakfast & Staff
Many it needs overall upgradation
The exhaust at the bath doesn’t work well ,
The water in the tub takes a long time to drain ,
The metal strip between the carpet and tiled floor hurts

Good
Very convenient location to Galway, bus station, train station, and tour meeting points.
Some of the room amenities could use an update. The drains were slow to drain and it was hard to flush the toilet.

My son developed a GI bug while there and they let us have a late checkout and were super accommodating. The staff was delightful.

Easy to walk to places to eat and shop.
The spa/fitness center/pool are not in the hotel and you have to walk outside to get to those facilities.

Wonderful
Galmont is a high-class hotel providing all the amenties and comforts you would expect. The Spirit One Spa was a fabulously relaxing experience with multiple saunas and steam rooms and quiet spaces. The staff was prompt and polite and the downtown Galway is a short walk away.
Well, it's huge and you can't escape that corporate feel. The bar/restaurant had that transcient impersonal feel. The room we had had insufficient lighting and the rain shower head was too low for tall people over 6 feet.

Very Good
I was sick during my trip to Ireland, and my wallet was stolen in Dublin.
Therefore I did not have a good time this trip.

Good
Breakfast was delicious. Front desk staff was super friendly.
The sauna/hottub closes too early. The AC unit in our room was too loud making noise every 5 minutes. Parking should be complimentary.

Pleasant
The beds were soft.
Despite being away from bars and quiet area, the guests returning throughout the night were loud and kept us awake. 400 euros per room per night was quite high for low quality sleep. Also do not stay in 182 and 184 as the view is of an electrical unit right outside window and it is loud since it is on corner near an elevator. Nothing special about the rooms - just standard. I thought it would be nice since the most expensive place we are staying on our road trip.
