Thirteen On The Green - Eyre Square is located on the corner of Eyre Square in the heart of Galway city center. The bus and train station are just a 2-minute walk away. An private bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at Thirteen On The Green - Eyre Square, as well as views of the square. A hairdryer and ironing facilities are also provided. Food is served every day from 08:00 to 21:00 in the bar. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, however, it can be purchased daily from 8am. The seaside area of Salthill is a 15-minute walk away, while Connemara can be reached in 20 minutes by car. A 16th-century castle, museums and a wide variety of shops can be found within the town center. All of our rooms are located over the pub on the ground floor, where we have live music until late - 7 nights a week. We are located in the lively, city center area with all our rooms street facing.

Location
Extremely noisy at a very early hour with banging kegs to unload them. It woke us up at 5am and went on til 7 am. Noise cancelling headphones couldn’t even drown out the noise. Very challenging when already battling jet lag from the states. The room was very hot and the small fan was insufficient and extremely noisy as well.

The rooms are ok the bar staff lacking in customer attention. Night porter is really nice sadly it's not the place it used to be.

It's exactly what you would envision for a classic "Irish hotel". Perfectly poured Guinness in a perfectly weathered pub downstairs where at any moment in the evening - after a warm bowl of Guinness stew - you'll notice several people had trot their way in and sat down together with various instruments, preparing for a night of classical Irish music. And don't be surprised if dancers show up as well, most nights the celebration goes on late into the night, and my goodness is it fun!
The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, and had some issues with water temperature in the shower/sink.

The location is excellent. It is minutes from the train & bus stops & a five minute walk to the Latin quarter. Most tours meet right in/near Eyre Square, so you have an easy morning.
This property is exactly what they claim to be. It is a hotel room above a bar, on a busy street. The inn & room are both very dated. The bed is not comfortable. The shower is small. You can’t sleep with the window open because if the noise & there is no a/c. BUT if you want a relatively cheap place to lay your head, this is what you get.

Location was great. The hotel was right on the square - steps from the train station and all of the shopping. we arrived on a saturday and the farmers market / craft tents were great. Room was clean. The bed was big.
Had to check in with the bartender. room had zero storage for clothing - we lived out of our suitcase. Noise starts at 4:30am as they have to clean the streets before the traffic comes. It was very very loud. The pub was small and sleepy for such a popular area. The shower was tiny - but that was also the case in our dublin hotel.

Great location and value for money. Beds were comfortable.
Room was very small. The music downstairs went on well past midnight. I can sleep through anything so was not a bother for us. Parking was in a garage about a 7-10 min walk away.

Perfect location close to everything. I didn’t find it loud. Staff was friendly food was wonderful.
Bathroom was a little tight. But that's really to be expected and would not deter me from staying again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the location is right downtown in the middle of everything.
Just know that you are staying on top of a bar and right across from a hostel and transportation center. The second night we used white noise on our phone to drown out some other noises. It is not a luxury hotel but it is very clean and comfortable.

Location was perfect. Everything was easy to get to. Coffee shop around the corner, Train station around the corner. Hotel has an excellent restaurant/bar downstairs. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and despite hotel being in the center of everything it was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cozy, traditional accommodation right on Eyre Square. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food in the pub was delish!
Liked everything because I was wanting an authentic pub lodging experience.
