Convenient location with the bus to downtown in front of the hotel. Hotel was very clean and restaurant on property was great.

I thought this was a wonderful hotel with very comfortable and spacious rooms. Location was great to even though if it was off the beaten path, it was just minutes on a bus into Galway city center. The food in the restaurant was phenomenal! The employees were all wonderful and extremely friendly! I highly recommend.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about the property.

Good location with bus stop right out the front of the hotel to get into CBD. Nice restaurant attached to hotel with great food.

Disappointing
The room was clean and of a good size and the staff was professional and friendly. There is free parking available.
The breakfast was basic and you could see they are giving the cheap ingredients/items for breakfast (for example: they had only a pre-mixed fruit salad and I had to ask every morning if it would be possible to give me just a few slices of fresh watermelon which was in the salad available because I have allergies of some other fruits which were in the salad, the fried eggs sunny side up were dried already and cold most of the time...). It didn't meet the price for the room including breakfast at all. Very disappointing.
The whole atmosphere felt "old" and the furniture need a renovation in my opinion.

It was fancy and elegant. We only stayed for one night but the room was just what we needed in Galway.
I wish there was more information about how to get to the main part of the city.

We were traveling in a large van, so we chose this hotel because of the easy parking.
We needed to cab into the city center, but it was worth it to not have to drive our van into the city center

The hotel was convenient for us.
The room was a little musty, but that is to be expected with the weather being damp and raining most of time. Breakfast was served buffet style, but we had better breakfasts off site for less money.

Good breakfast and the staff was very helpful.
The bathroom tub was very high from the floor. It was difficult to enter and exit the tub. It was actually a little dangerous. Luckily I am still very active but an older person would have a hard time entering and exiting the tub.

I liked that it was in close proximity to Galway. It also had a restaurant and bar right downstairs that were helpful.
The only thing is that parking felt limited and challenging at times.

Location was great for traveling via rental car. Bus stop across the street was easy and convenient to city center in 10 minutes. Beds were very comfortable and AC heating worked very well. Staff good. Restaurant bar was great option for quick meal if getting in late.
It’s a little dated without much charm and caters to large tour groups. However, they managed them very well.
