Perfect location to explore the heart of Galway and experience the shopping, restaurants, live music, and nightlife. Friendly staff. Small but comfortable rooms. Rich history with this hotel. Laundromat was right around the corner.
Narrow hallways and stairs and no elevator, but this was well- communicated in the booking. We had one person with minor mobility issues so they were accommodating by giving them a room closest to the ground floor.

Very Good
We liked they were super welcoming to our small dog, even letting him be in the breakfast area. The staff was super polite, diligent and welcoming. The property was clean and in great shape. The breakfast did not have any hot items (just toast) however, there were plenty of things to choose from and it was all fresh and nicely laid out and replenished. Easy to locate, easy check-in/out and right at the foot of busy, vibrant, and party ambiance Galway city.
The room felt very small, but no different than most B&Bs we've stayed at.

Wonderful
The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Our room was cozy, but comfortable, and the breakfast just right. We had no problem with street noise. The building has a fascinating history you can read about during breakfast. Great place to stay if you want to wander around the Latin Quarter.
The hotel is quite vertical with narrow stairs - persons with mobility issues may find it challenging.

Wonderful
Being close to the Galway restaurants, pubs, music, & hotel, we’re a plus. The 2:30 am outdoor revelry could be heard but not a problem. The hotel room was small; but included 2 twin beds with just enough walking room, a full bath (toilet, small sink & shower),a smart TV, fulfilling breakfast options & a staff willing to accommodate when necessary.
Be in shape yo lug luggage up 2-3 floors; although the staff was there to assist us in our 79d

Very centraly located, close to good restaurants, pubs and shopping.
Small room but very cute, just a suggestion is the need of outlets near the bed to charge phones.

Wonderful
Excellent location for visiting Galway at this interesting and historical property. As others have said, the rooms are small but the bathrooms are modern and all necessary amenities are available. Any external noise is muted by windows and shutters, and ear plugs are supplied, but we didn’t require them, even street side. The continental breakfast is lovely, as are the friendly and helpful staff :) Great for a short stay.

Great location near the Spanish Arch carport.
Alex was great - so willing to help with our bags.. and so nice !
We were in room 5 & 6 - and you could hear the street noise during the night... but the convenience of staying in the Latin Quarter was worth it.

Very Good
The location was amazing, and the staff was extremely helpful. We asked to leave our luggage both before the check in and after the check out, and they were very receptive and supported with the request. The communication was always very pleasant.
The breakfast was quite nice and had a homey feeling.
There was a lot of noise from the street just because the hotel was located on a very busy street with bars. Nevertheless, this was known to us when we did the booking, and there were also earplugs in the room.

Overall this is a great little hotel in the heart of Gallaway! The room is a little small for two people, but it felt cozy and quaint. Staff was very pleasant- had a nice conversation with the young man working there from Brazil. Breakfast was a good assortment of tea, coffee, juices, milk, fruits, cheeses, breads, meats, yogurt and cereal served every morning. The room and bathroom were clean and staff straightened up and brought fresh towels everyday. You can't beat it for the location and price with breakfast included. If you don't have very high expectations this place is wonderful.
Nothing.

Location was perfect. We stayed during the week, so the noise was at a minimum, but the double set of windows really helped.
