Set within four acres of private gardens, St. Helen's is a five-star Georgian estate built in the 1750s and now a protected National Monument, located a 10-minute drive from Dublin city center. Talavera Restaurant serves Italian cuisine by candlelight, with seasonal ingredients and handmade pastas at its heart. Staff were very pleasant and had a good attitude.
Bathroom was very dated with a shower temperature knob that was very difficult to turn. A 7 euro supplement for Eggs Benedict. Overall vibe was a 1980s 4-star hotel being milked until the owners get a mega offer for a residential development.

Room was very well decorated, spacious and extra toiletries provided. For a friendly and accommodation and upgraded our room.
There are one or two little things in the room I would change covered near the radiator was loose temporary skirting board. It may have just been my room but there seems to be an issue with all lights being turned off with the main switches, no option to leave bathroom light on during the night.

Good location, nice food, very pretty, very helpful and friendly staff
Could hear quite a lot through the walls, which was a little awkward. Breakfast was very very busy, no big deal but just something to be aware of if you’re in a hurry.

Location wise, it was excellent. You feel like you are in the middle of the countryside. Extremely quiet, the garden's we're beautiful, the staff were so professional and friendly and the food was fantastic. Our room, and all of the surrrounding area's of the hotel we're immaculate. I had ordered a bottle of prosecco for the room and the staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday extra special with complementary chocolates in the room. Excellent service for an excellent hotel
