Wonderful
Lovely castle hotel in a great location. Rooms are comfy and have everything needed for an easy stay. The best part is access to the spa facilities!! Also bonus - excellent views of Dublin and the bay.
Coffee machines are limited in choices in rooms…

Dinner was delicious. I am a vegan and the vegan steak was delicious.
How difficult is was to get there from the train. How hard it was to get a taxi back to the train. Perhaps a shuttle bus should be added to you hotel offerings to ease travel for those of us not driving.

Everything! We enjoyed the music in the Dungeon! That evening there was another band playing for a wedding. When I heard the music, I asked about it and was told they could seat us nearby enough that we could hear it. Both bands were great! My friend truly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The balcony was great! We could see the sea from it. It was very peaceful!
I'm allergic to pepper and I'm on a special diet so the menu had little on it for me.

Pleasant
It was an interesting building with a lot of nice features. The onsite charging stations were also useful to top up my plug in hybrid. The barman Jordon we met on the first evening was very friendly and gave us useful tips on our future destinations in Ireland. The lunchtime food was also very good.
The building looked a little tired. We had a broken pane in the bedroom window and the linings to the lift were well worn. On the first night we were told we could order drinks in the lobby after the main bar had closed but then on the second night we were told that was not possible. There were a number of returning guests after 11pm that would have liked a drink. The lunch time staff in the lobby were very busy and had to be reminded twice about a coffee I had ordered and twice again for the bill.

The location was great! Very close to the town. The bed was comfortable.
The furniture in the rooms could use some updating.

Wonderful
Very comfortable bedroom, quiet and great for sleeping.
Arriving for breakfast at 9.30am the food in the heated containers (sausages, eggs, bacon etc) was not hot!

I had a nice room with a view. The amenities were lovely. They had a nice hot tub and pool. Dinner in their dining room was very nice.
Getting there was a bit of a problem. They should have some kind of a shuttle. If you don't have a vehicle. Taxis are difficult to get. We walked 15 minutes with our luggage through town to the taxi stand on the way there and waited a long time until one finally. We waited an hour for a taxi to pick us up again to take us to the train station.

Wonderful
We quite enjoyed the balcony view from our room - it was worth booking a balcony room. The cocktail bar was extremely comfortable and a nice place to relax. The bed was very comfortable. There are lots of on-site amenities (pool/fitness center, grassy lawn for children to run and play, etc.).
While there were some accommodations here and there, I think this would be a challenging location for anyone with mobility issues.

Disappointing
The location was good.
Water was a hassle to get, some facilities were out of order, towels were impossible to get some sent to the room, room was very warm.

Location was a huge plus and the lower level dnning area was very cool.
Outdated and need of upgrading. I love the old traditional aspects of the property but it’s tired.

We arrived in Dublin in the morning but had a short drive to the castle. The staff was very accommodating and let us know when our room was ready. We had lunch while we waiting to get into our room. It was a beautiful location.
