Excellent breakfast.
The bathtub could have a grab bar and a bath mat in bath to avoid slippery surfaces.

Good
Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with close proximity to the DART. Delightful breakfast in the morning.
Lodging rooms are located up a flight or more stairs, making it challenging with luggage.

We had a chance to walk to a local pub for dinner. Enjoyed another morning walk along the seaside park.

Pleasant
Good bed, proximity to the DART station.
Mostly quiet, you only hear other guests through ventilation and/or floors.
The place is in need of maintenance. There are traces of roof leaks here and there, missing tiles, warped wood. Bad ventilation in the bathroom.
Stingy breakfast with only a single egg. Cramped on street parking.
I'd also appreciate a kettle in the room, but the owner seems to prefer packing all available space with beds.

Pleasant
Nice old house, lovely location, sea view,
Too expensive for what was on offer.
Really poor shower, small room, very overpriced.
Basic enough breakfast, a mini full Irish. The rest was ok. But no fruit cocktail. Definitely not worth what we paid.
Parking very poor. Very little availability. Nobody to see us off.. it would be nice if the owner made an appearance to say goodbye and thanks.

Wonderful
Quietest place I have enjoyed in Dublin this decade. And so very close to the Glenageary DART station (especially if you know the laneways for cyclists).
I would replace the carpet in the rooms.

Wonderful
This is not just a hotel, but a real guest house. When I rang the bell, I could not believe that I would be spending the night in this house with a beautiful red door.
I really liked the house, the corridor with the clock and the stucco on the ceiling, the hall on the first floor look very cinematic. We had a separate room-number with a separate bathroom. Large comfortable bed and a very warm blanket.
Also on the first floor there is a cozy breakfast room.
The hostess was very nice and kind. I also remember the shower with very small streams of water. It was so gentle :)
On the street near the house you can find places for a couple of cars. The sea and the wonderful embankment are about 15 minutes walk away.
everithing was perfect

The host, an elderly lady was very sweet. It looked cool on the outside. Town was nice
We had a difficult time finding parking. There was no TV in the room, it took a very long time to get hot water. Some linens didn’t smell fresh.

Pleasant
Location and old world charm.
Outdated. Cramped room. Very low water pressure. Impatient, inhospitable host.

We loved the layout inside: it felt traditional, cozy, and welcoming. Ann and Daniel were great hosts, very kind. We were happy with the room. The beds were warm and comfortable. We had the sea view and appreciated the breeze from the window. Breakfast was nice, good-quality eggs. The location is great! A 5-min walk to the DART station (goes to Dublin, or to Greystones in the other direction), and less than a 10-min walk to the waterfront. There is a Spar, restaurants, cafes, a park, and shops within walking distance. Traveling to and from the Claremont House was convenient. And they have their own restaurant, "Daniel's," on the waterfront road!
The only thing I didn't like was more an "us problem." We felt like we were being too loud at times. We have a 5-year old; he was well-behaved, but we thought we should be quieter than usual. The hosts and other guests made no indication that we were loud guests, so it's entirely possible that no issue existed.

V homely, super clean, lovely food, Anne made good local recommendations...but then just allowed you to "be". On street free parking too.

Very Good
We received a warm welcome on arrival. Coffee and a good varietry of teas were available in the dining room for us to help ourselves to whenever we wanted, with biscuits. Breakfasts were very good. Our room was comfortable and quiet, everything was very clean. There was adequate off-street parking, which is always a great help.
It would help to have a small sign at the gate saying the name of the BnB, to help guests locate the house on arrival.

Good
Beautiful quiet part of Dún Laoghaire near St Paul’s Church. Only a stone’s throw away from Sandycove and Forty Foot.
Good WiFi in the room.
A reminder in the bedroom about breakfast times and checkout would have been helpful.

Wonderful
Traditional Bnb, with resident owners and cooked breakfast included. We had appt and difficulty getting a taxi so one of the owners drove us in their own car. There was a significant storm night of our stay and although central heating was operating all night, the bedroom was a little chilly. Only shortcoming of our stay. Highly recommended!
