Lovely hotel close enough to marlay park for a concert. Shuttle bus tickets to and from concert could be bought at hotel which was an added bonus, saving us the stress of waiting for taxis!

Poor
One member of staff was quite friendly when I reported an issue
We arrived and checked into our first room, there was an overwhelming stench of what can only be described as urine coming from the entire room, I immediately rang down to reception and the girl down there was lovely and transferred us to a new room immediately, however the second room wasn’t much better, as soon as I switched off the shower there was a strong smell of dampness coming from the room, bearing in mind we paid nearly 450 euro to stay for 2 nights, we booked as I had a surgery in the beacon and the location was so close and we were coming from Waterford, needless to say after returning from surgery, recovering from general anaesthetic and sore we were less than enticed to stay in a smelly room after ward and ultimately decided to return to Waterford even though I was uncomfortable post op I would rather sit in the car for 2 hours than stay there another night, when my mam mentioned our reason for leaving and if we could be re compensated for that night she was met with a frosty reception saying it was too late notice and nothing he could do, she had been in hospital with me from 12 that day until 9 at night and did not need anybody being rude to her, I think for this price point you would expect clean and comfortable facilities which was absolutely not the case here and I do believe we should have been entitled to compensation.

Wonderful
I return here a couple of times a year. Great access, on the green Luas, quiet and removed from hustle and bustle of the capital yet 25 mins away.
Clean, comfortable, great food offerings.
The room is nicely appointed and everything works.
Pleasant desk and restaurant staff.
The Aircoach departs from right outside.
Nothing here.
Dynamic pricing in hotels generally needs oversight in my view: my same room was twice the price the following weekend!

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and it’s always comfortable and convenient. It’s not in the heart of Dublin, but close to family for us and near public transportation. Easy and direct airport shuttle!
A little expensive for a basic hotel room.
