It appears that the Hotel has undergone a facelift since I last stayed there. Everything was clean and fresh & well-maintained
I ordered Eggs Benedict, but they had too much pepper in them & sadly I'm not a fan of pepper !! Other than that Breakfast was a treat.

It felt really traditional, brass weights on proper keys, the breakfast was lovely and the staff superb. Cindy in particular in the breakfast room, really friendly & I don’t think I’ve seen anyone as efficient at their job as she is. She was brilliant.

The staff was great especially David the bartender. Made us feel very at home and provided great service. Also, the older gentleman in the dining room was on top of his game and made dining very enjoyable. More to say about him down below.
1. For the cost of the hotel we expected more than plastic water and coffee mugs in the room. Every place else we stayed at in Ireland for over a week for less money provided us with real water and coffee mugs. It really cheapens the value of the hotel, it was what we expect from a cheap hotel in the US.
2. When we arrived on Friday at around noon the room was not ready. I told the woman who checked us in that I would park the car and come back and leave our luggage so she knew that we were using a parking garage and the one that we told we could use the previous weekend. What she did not tell us was that the parking garage doesn't open until 10 am on Sunday. Yesterday we checked out at 830 am for our noon flight and we told at the desk the garage doesn't open until 10 2 hours before our flight! Thank God for the older gentleman from the dining room who went out of his way to go with us to the garage and get the garage to open the door early. If not from him, we would have missed our flight home. He went way out of his way to help us and he didn't have to. Because of this we will stay again at The Wynns when we come back to Dublin. Because of this delay we did not have time to gas up our car at the car rental place and we will have to pay a lot of euros because of this. I feel it would be proper for us to get one night refunded to cover the cost of the petrol. In the future all gusts should be informed if they have a car and if so let them know the hours of the garage.

Wonderful
It is a historic building with deep roots in the struggle for independence. I found it very appealing in its architecture and design features, and its location could not be better (the Abbey Theatre is a block away, vibrant O’Connell St around the corner, easy public transportation, Trinity College a few moments walking, as is EPIC museum - pedestrians from everywhere.)
I doubt I will forget my stay at Wynn’s Hotel, as it was truly a unique experience. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff - from the dining room, bar, to the front desk are outstanding in their hospitality, flexibility and helpfulness. The dinner was delicious! Lamb with a Guinness: what else could possibly be needed?? (The salad and vegetables were also quite tasty…)
If I’m gonna get picky, I would have liked better coffee with my breakfast, but then again, with a full Irish breakfast I probably should have had tea for the ‘true’ experience!

My elderly Mum and I arrived very early but the wonderful staff at Wynn's allowed us a very early check-in. Thank you Wynn's
We had a room at the front of the hotel, so if you were a light sleeper it may disturb you. We expected this as it's situated in the heart of a very vibrant Dublin
