Built in the 1800s, the recently restored Uppercross House Hotel is located in bustling Rathmines, just over the canal on Dublin's south side. Limited free private parking is available, and Uppercross House Hotel is one mile from St. Stephen's Green, 2 miles from Temple Bar, 2 miles from the RDS / Aviva Stadium and 3 miles from Croke Park. A bus stop and taxi stand are just outside the door and can reach the center of the city in 5 minutes. The green luas line (Beechwood Stop) also stops at Upper Rathmines Road, the city, or the town of Dundrum within minutes for great shopping opportunities. An extra wing was added to the hotel in 2000, mixing new facilities with traditional elegance. Rooms have free wireless internet access. Mother Reilly's Bar & Restaurant has great food and drinks, live entertainment and a warm, comfy atmosphere.

Nice breakfast, porridge food. Room adequate for an overnight stay, plenty of storage. Location about 20-30 minutes away on the bus from city centre. There is a train station but we were told it’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Bus was fine, just slow because of traffic. Although the hotel is out of town it does have on site free parking which is a bonus.

Location close to the ferry but not to far from city centre. Nice and spacious room for a family with dog. Pub with a very good gastronomic offer and great with the Quiz Night.

Lovely hotel in Dublin, near the Port for Stena line back to Holyhead. Delicious evening meal & breakfast, served with a smile. Our room was spacious with double & single beds. Great Ensuite & shower with fluffy towels & complimentary toiletries. Flat screen TV & tea/coffee. Secure car parking at back of hotel.

Breakfast was beautifully presented by a lovely young lady with dark hair and beautiful smile and male staff were also great.The bedroom was beautifully decorated and no carpet was great.The peace in 115 was best ever.the bus stop outside was so convenient.The rec staff were excellent

The reception staff were so welcoming and helpful Room was excellent as was the comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean I had to leave before breakfast on Sunday but I was provided with an excellent Breakfast bag Reception helpfully organised a taxi for the morning of my departure
