The hotel property was great. We had two separate stays due to travel around the country. The first 2 days I booked directly through the hotel and were excellent. The staff were super helpful and the room was perfect with great amenities and the little extras that make a stay special. The beds are super comfy and Santiago at the front desk and the female valet are exceptional. The location was perfect for us to be near the college. I requested the same room for our return stay and the front desk made note of it. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience with our stay booked through Booking.com.
With our stay booked through Booking.com our experience was markedly different. We were put on the same floor as our previous stay but in a tiny room that had a door whose width was half-sized, perfect for a Hobbit but not 3 grown adults with luggage. The room amenities we enjoyed with our first booking were not available for those booking through this site. The bathroom sink was cracked and the tub slow to drain. The wonderful front desk person we experienced during our original stay was replaced by a woman who was notably unfriendly. The beds were still comfy, but once we had experienced the better room, this stay paled in comparison.

Beds were very comfy. Staff were lovely. The design of the hotel was beautiful and court yard garden was lovely for a drink. We had a ‘surprise’ in our room left from the hotel as we were travelling for a friend’s birthday which was very lovely & made us smile when we walked in the room. Location was great, around a 10-15 min walk from Temple Bar and around 10 min walk to Grafton street.
Can’t comment on food as didn’t eat there. Everything else met expectations.
