It’s beautiful, very ornate, lovely glasses in room and tea and coffee facilities lovely.
The air con leaves a lot to be desired. It is essentially a vent on the windowsill which blows upwards. So if you close the curtains it doesn’t blow into the room. So we couldn’t use the blackout facilities and the room was still 23 degrees even with air con on at full blast. The room was really uncomfortable and when I mentioned to the front desk the next day the just shrugged. I’ve read other reviews since and it seems to be a recurring issue. We were there on a warm summer day but it’s still no excuse in a hotel like this. The air con really needs updating.
We went to the lounge for a cocktail before our dinner reservation and we sat for ages before anyone came near us despite being seated by the front of house lady. It wasn’t busy and there were about five staff standing chatting around a cutlery station. I had to go up and ask to be served but they served us very quickly then. Otherwise staff were incredibly polite and helpful.

Elegant, clean, comfortable
Bathroom needed a separate toilet or a screen from the shower too close! No privacy

The Westbury is extremely well located. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was not included in our reservation, but was excellent. The rooms aren't huge, but its a hotel in the middle of the city. We were very comfortable. Its walking distance from all the big sites. We even walked to the Guinness Storehouse. Overall, the hotel is luxurious and serene, recently updated. Its a very comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

Wonderful
The location is excellent. Can’t be a better location than this hotel
We were at top floor. The shower pressure is very low. It’s not very convenient. Our room was facing a party alley. It is noisy from the crowd but it dies down after 10pm. I picked this hotel also because it has a gym. But the gym is outside the hotel, a few minutes walk, and under renovation.

Location excellent. Hotel itself very nice. Wilde restaurant fantastic. All staff exceptional
I booked over 6 months ago, and paid £700 per night for a superior room. This was definitely not worth £700. The bathroom was tired- the tap handle fell off, shower door did not shut, paint peeling on bathroom ceiling, cold water pressure minimal. No full length mirror in the room. We returned to our room at 3pm the following day and it hadn’t been serviced! If you charge for a superior room it needs to be just that.
Gym was closed for refurbishment, cocktail bar closed for private function
