Always wanted to stay in the Spencer hotel and there was a summer sale & got 30%off and as I was excited to stay in the Spencer the lovely receptionist upgraded us to a room with a balcony overlooking the Liffey. A beautiful hotel I’d highly recommend

The location is perfect, very close to the red line of the tram, which brings you straight to the centre of the city, or even close to the Guinness warehouse.
The balcony is not worthwhile the additional price. Very small and at least in our room, right under some vents which made it very noisy, so we didn't go on the balcony at all.

The hotel had a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which were a good way to relax as we had travelled all day. The staff were helpful. The beds were really cosy and clean.
The parking was poorly signed until you were right in front of the entrance. It was an odd car park and a tight squeeze for our car. The signage more generally was a bit odd in the downstairs of the hotel, and the foyer seemed a bit cluttered. Breakfast was not really worth the money and next time I would just search out one of the nice coffee shops.
