Staff were friendly & accommodate. Evening bar food was good.
Radiator was absoloutely filthy as was under the bed ( which I only moved because I was searching for something) you couldnt even see the colour of the carpet, a wine bottle & a room key card were there. Sink was not attached securely to the bathroom at all . Impossible to regulate the shower , lukewarm with no pressure & tiny. Handsoap dispenser came away in my hand.
No water in the room .
Very noisy at night , drunken people in the corridors etc approx 2am.
I had stayed before & noticed the smell of dust in the room from the radiation however this was worse.
Spoke to reception in the morning, whilst polite & requesting I send them photos nothing was done & no word since. Still waiting on my receipt for my cash payment which was not given to me as they "had to adjust the pricevon the system" to reflect a €10 refund for breakfast as I couldn't stay for breakfast -

The name is misleading. It doesn’t have a spa and it’s only average for 3-4 star hotel. Apparently it’s name is historic value.
